    Exactly. Wheelers offered to meet in the middle since the parts aren’t being returned, sounds more than fair to me in this situation.

    Why couldn’t you open the bolt slots with a rotary file? Coulda reemed them out on the truck, and it would have taken 10 minutes per plate at most and a steady hand. Sucks it was the wrong part, I’ve been there, but this sounds like making a mountain out of a mole hill.

    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
    We did that and cut the tabs off to move them to the correct spacing. You guys clearly don’t read

    That's what we did! The 05-15 tabs are too close together for the 3rd gen cam bolts so we had to cut those off and fabricate new tabs as well.

    OP doesn’t want a full refund. Wheelers just can’t own up to what they did wrong. You can clearly see it in their rebuttal. Acting like they had it updated on their site when in reality, OP calling them out caused them to update their website. This is how TW is though everyone has the vendor’s back so it is impossible for them to be in the wrong.

    I can understand the frustration of having a part that isn’t compatible with your truck. I can also see being pissed that it was too late when you found out. That being said, why should it fall back on the company when they sent you a receipt that lists what the part is for. How hard would it have been to call or email back to be sure it’s right?

    Is it the Wrong part, yes! BUT before you cut off your tabs and WELDED these on, you didn’t think to double check the part? Who’s really at fault here... you are dude. Honestly I think wheelers offering you a partial credit for an item that you can’t return is more than enough.

    I take no position on this particular case. I have had good experience with Wheeler's. But, I did have a bad experience with another vendor, and I chose not to air it out on TW because of this last sentence. Sucks that it has to be that way. Anyways, carry on.

    I don’t know what computer you have but I’m pretty sure on a Mac you can pull up old web pages to see how they looked on a certain date. Depends on how much you care to dig and find it.
