Ah, I figured it must be the tires. I don't know enough about them to see much difference unless they're really aggressive

Yep that's gotta be him if it was in Dripping Springs. He's a big VW/Audi/Porsche guy. Not from here originally. He has ties to California.

Driving to work this morning was a white knuckle experience. Once clocked in it stopped like 20 min later.

    This.

Of the groups I have been associated with, this is the only one with staying power and activity. The ATX Tundra group had a great showing the other day, but the guy organizing that put a crap ton into the organization, and a lot of those trucks were from San Antonio. Not faulting the hustle, but it simply takes a lot to get these groups off the ground, and even more to keep folks engaged. TTC does it well.

Really appreciate the kind words! Without great members through and through and A LOT of help from them...it would be too difficult for just me to organize anything.

We are working HARD to come up with a way that everybody can easily view updates on scheduled meet ups and other club info.

So Im looking at a tacoma. Guy says his has a locking factory diff. He replaced the switch because he took the engine out (new engine) and it had a 5 prong something and the switch was 12 v so it could be on anytime?

He also says that the TRD package wasnt offered until 2005. My reading says the locker was offered from 1996-2004. The TRD sticker started something in the late 90s.

He is a toyota MVP Tech.

    Anyone want to chime in?

Doesn't sound like he is up to date on his Toyota knowledge. I think this is a job for @ChadsPride to learn him some.

Great looking truck. Some Kings and blue brake lines would look fantastic underneath there. Pic from @TRD-100 's truck
