    As I previously stated, I admit that a small part of this is on me. However, Wheelers stating that the parts were on their website when they were not and a Wheelers employee telling me that they are the right part for 05 and up Tacomas and then not admitting to it after the fact is BS. I was not able to find the parts on TC's website as I was out of the country when I ordered and could not get TC on the phone so I called Wheelers and made a decision based on what they told me.

    It was claimed that the website didn't say that when he ordered, that's what needs verification.

    Yes, the invoice says it, but the product advertisement should as well. How many people read every single receipt they ever get, and should they be expected to? In my opinion, no.

    OP didn't ask for a refund, he asked for a confession. An admittance to who was wrong.

    Pre-installation who is at fault? The company.

    No way in hell the installer is at fault. The installer (@Timbo's Customs along with @allenfab) refabbed the parts to make them work.

    Man, the reading comprehension is weak in here.

    consumer should not be expected/required to read the receipt. the part being purchased as advertised should be the same part that shows up on the receipt. any questioning of that would bring to question why you would order from a company?

    That is why I called them and asked about it before ordering! I was told by Wheelers that they are for 05 and up.

    Ok. I see there that it says 05+ and not 05-15 like it should . So I can respect that. But I do believe the situation was offered a remedy that was sufficient none the less.

    Which is why I called and asked about them because the Wheelers site had nothing for any year model after 2015 and knowing that the frames are basically the same between the 2nd and 3rd gens and suspension is the same, I called to ask if these were compatible and was told they were.

    I'm repeating myself over and over.

    @Trident904 your paper does show you to be correct and you are right in this situation. @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc made me a bit a skeptical. No matter what, his paper work shows me that wheelers screwed up. @Trident904 good for you for calling them out. I'll never order from them again, thanks to this, and I did spend 3k on suspension parts from them in the past :(
