Actually after looking at yours then mine, you can try to slide the reservoir down a little more first and see if that helps it. Although comparing ours, my hose looks like it has more give which is weird.

 

Now that you pointed that out it does kind of looks like that.

It is kinda weird though. When I turn my tire full rotation it’s not close to making contact. I almost wonder if the scuff occurred during the alignment process.

 

Those hoses are tough and a little tire rub is not going to rub through it any time soon. Also those hoses are easily replaced although you have to recharge the system with nitrogen, worse case throw a zip tie on it to pull the hose more towards the inner wheel well, this is a temporary fix though.

 

Okay that was my next question. They seem super sturdy.

 

While driving slow speed in a parking lot with your windows down turn the wheel from full lock to lock and do some cirles trying to ride over some rough areas of the parking lot to cycle the suspension. If your tire is rubbing then you will hear it make a noise on the side lugs of those BFG's. I think it might have happened during the alignment, a dirty hand might have grabbed the nice blue line on accident.

 

I’d say clean it up so you can see if new marks appear. Some have just added hose wraps until they rebuild them down the road and upgrade the hose and that’s typically for those that run boxes UCAs.

No worries at least you are paying attention, most people can't even change their own oil or a flat tire for that matter.

 

Read somewhere on this forum that someone just used gorilla tape. I would personally use something that is specifically automotive hose tape and blue too so it’s still aesthetically appealing.

 

@Gunner123 heres an option for a temporary fix if it does get crazy. It’s called rescue tape and it’s used in automotive applications and comes in blue too. Just an extra layer on top of your hose.

How long did you guys wait for king to build your shocks?

 

I bought mine new in the box from a fellow member here on the forum that lost his job before he could do the install.

 

I got quoted 1-3 weeks... but they said might be 4-6 weeks at these times... they said something about "desert racing" season.

some vendors have them in stock though

 

I am happy with the Kings, worth a wait in my opinion. I looked at all other options before buying them, they own desert racing, many people run them and they are a US company that stands behind their product. But in the end you will have to be happy too, opinions are like butholes, everyone has one.

 

If you haven’t already ordered try down south Motorsports. They tend to have a stock on them.
