TRD Pro Grille for $140?

Just received mine from lan minh. It took about 2 1/2 weeks. No broken tabs, $132 with shipping. It's for a '17 so it was a one piece design with tape for the letters. I used JB Weld to secure the letters.

 

I just installed mine, I got it for 129 from tech.michigan California, very happy for the purchasing.
I don't have to deal with oversee seller.

 

So I found a killer deal on an authentic Pro grille and my China grille should be here any day now and won't need it. Any interest? I'm thinking $125 PU or $140 shipped. I believe it's the two piece from BruceShark...

Installed mine last week. $139.99 from inflatable4less on eBay. Excellent quality and fit.

 

Will this grill fit my 2014 Tacoma? If not does anyone have the link to the one that will?

where did you find your killer deal.....and what did it cost you

 

So I bought the OEM Pro grille "used". Some guy was trading his Tacoma in on a 4Runner and was selling everything he had. He posted it for sale on FB for 275 and I sent him a very low offer just for the heck of it. The next day, he said he had received no messages and sold it to me. It has a few very minor scuffs from sitting on a shelf or something but they are hardly noticeable. It was shipped perfectly with all plastic tabs intact. It was a right place right time situation where I guess he didn't want to wait around to sell it.

I just got a grill from tech.ontario..... What a piece of crap, didn't even include the "loose letters". Nowhere in the eBay description did it say they would be loose, and then on top of it they didn't ship the letters.

 

They generally come lose, if you read through the thread here, but not even receiving them, now that's an issue.

 

Yeah, at first I thought it was a complete scam job. Now it just looks like a combination of not properly describing the product along with not actually shipping the letters. The versions I have seen in here with the letters attached manually look noticeably different IMO.

 

I’m guessing the same. Mine were in the main box, but had fallen out of the smaller box inside the large box when it arrived.

Look a few posts up. Mine were separate; I wasn’t able to tell different of it and the real Pro at my local dealer.

 

Yeah, yours does look good. I saw one a few back with a blue TRD that looked noticeably different. Well, since they never sent the letters I guess I won't know. The packing job was really half assed with a gap in the top, wouldn't surprise me if they were loose and fell out in some shipping facility.

I anger ordered this after the Chinese grill came in.

My ebay grill came in with one cracked tab. Has anyone repaired their cracked tabs and what did you use? I might just use the epoxy that I got for the letters but wanted to see what others have done.

 

Ordered one last night for $119 shipped. Supposedly coming from CA, we’ll see.

 

tech.ontario replied to my Ebay complaint, and said that the letters are being shipped separately. I already ordered a RAD industries grill, so now I have to unload the ebay China one on craigslist.

 

My grill came well packed however still had 2 broken tabs. I repaired them using Locktite epoxy plastic bonder I bought at Lowes for $6. Worked perfect. Allow to dry overnight and I installed the next day. I also used the epoxy on the backside to glue the tabs on the letters to the grill. They will not be coming off. Easy fix.
