I fly helicopters in Australia supporting a remote outback hunting company. Main focus is Asiatic water buffalo, but we do a lot more. It's all tent living, except for the cafeteria nis a metal biulding. We have two big gensets for electricity, pumps for water, campfire heated showers, all cooking is done on the fire. We do fishing charters in the gulf of carpentaria too, I fly you to the boat. Or we will take you to Ularu, to see Ayers rock, then offroading in the narrow canyons below it. All food and adult beverages provided. We have 5 diesel land cruisers with 35s, snorkels, fridges...and one Nissan patrol Ute that pulls an offroad trailer with camping stuff, recovery gear, luggage, spares....it's pretty much just a do whatever you want trip. We set everything up and pick you up at Darwin for a 7 day trip and drop you back off.

I'm and ECG Tech. I scroll through hours/days of heart rhythms and label it all accordingly... Will probably leave my company and try and go to a work from home company or move into a hospital/dr's office in the next couple of years when I'm ready to leave Tx.

I'm still working on becoming a sponsor vehicle :fingerscrossed: so I'd be sticking to one brand on all my armor if that works out...

Heard from them yesterday and I'm getting a little more hopeful - the time crunch to get everything done in time for Jambo is my main concern. We shall see!! Would be super awesome though!! I asked them about doing the install at Jambo - I figure maybe they could use it as a class or demonstration which would be neat!

LMAO - we were talking about that last night...feeling hopeful that they would take the opportunity to do the install themselves. Might be wishful thinking...

You live in TX though, right? So do you fly back and forth as needed? How does that work? I would love to go to Australia! It isn't number one on my bucket list - but would love to go some day!

Yea, who knows... they would prob help us out I bet. Pretty sure it was last year that Icon and a bunch of other people overhauled an FJ... so could be like that... but just a bumper.

    Always in a perfect world...

Pretty sure my end of year purchase is going to be a rear bumper with swing out.

Yeah I fly down around the first of may. Stay 3 months. Fly to Bali two weeks to reset, then fly back to Darwin, stay 3 months, then fly back to the states. Next year I will have a work permit, then after working 730 days in country on the work permit, I can become a legal resident and move down there for good. But regardless, we do all the Safari shows in the US every year. Dallas, Denver, Vegas, Sacramento, Houston, and next year there is one in Reno for some reason. So i have to come back to USA every year anyway
