Ordered OME 887's to replace my 884's (which will be up for sale once they come off) and EL095R Dakars last night.... still need to order the extended u bolts and bushing kit. No more saggy 2 leaf oem pack anymore! Are extended brake lines required/recommended when installing dakars? I won't be removing any of the leafs

Tires, soon to be shocks, bushings, and bull bar. No lift, not needed.
Replaced the lower control arms with ACdelco, didn't feel like messing with the ball joint and they were starting to rust a bit anyways. Replaced the front and back shocks with 2017 TRD off-road take-offs from Craigslist, they definitely gave me an inch of lift in the front and a half in the back. Much better ride than my jackass buddy trying to tell me block lift will do the same. Still haven't put new rear leaf springs in the back, probably just go with the OME add a leaf in a couple weeks.

Also reinforced my brush guard a bit to keep it from shaking so damn much. I figured someone else has this trouble so I put pics of my placements, it's not pretty but it keeps the vibrations down.

After an alignment my Taco is riding like new biting hard and riding smooth. This is all just in time for my trip on the trail this weekend.

It ain't over yet! Still have the 3 pulleys and serpentine belt to replace and they're sitting in my kitchen just waitin. Also, using royal purple 5w30 and K&N oil filter to baby my baby. The royal purple makes a huge difference I think, hopefully K&N makes a better oil filter than they do air filter.

I did that as well, I am referring to putting and over sized washer where the cable disconnects from the truck. That way they cannot take the cable off the truck either. The problem with doing this is the bolt that holds the cable in place has a large flange where the cable rotates. By adding a washer the exact same size as the flange it will rotate freely even though the bolt is now 1/8 father out because of the over sized washer. Hope this makes since. Ill post a Pic once complete.
