Any of you RI area folks used Executive Auto Wash in Woonsocket for a detailing before? I'm thinking it'd be nice to get my truck done up, once the salt is all washed away in a few weeks. They aren't too far from the office.

I haven't used them myself, but a few co-workers seem to like them. I guess they'll even come pick up the vehicle and drop it off when it's done too.

When you guys sell on CL, do you set a higher price, then let someone talk you down to what you really want? (Making them think they got a deal)

Microwave/range went again last night. Started to turn on on its own as well when closing the door. Called Whirlpool and they decided it was a safety issue, they are sending a free tech tomorrow to repair even though it's out of warranty due to it being a Safety issue.......more monies saved! Though we did just replace our washer, and I need to replace a switch on the stove top. Stove and microwave are only about 2.5 yrs old. Bought them right when we got married

Pretty sure that’s what most people do. I’ve never sold something on CL where the person paid asking price or didn’t say “what’s the lowest you’ll take”

Yes, like 10%. Sometimes more if it's a high dollar item.

We had good luck with our whirlpool dishwasher. It lasted about 14 years and was a contractor special. Stove/ fridge/ dryer are also whirlpool and are still fine after 14 years.

We did end up going full baller and got a Bosch replacement dishwasher though.

The new Bosch dishwashers are like silent. My parents have two in their house and you can barely hear them when they're running.

Yeah, someone told me that a while back and I've been doing it sense. Depends on how pricey the thing is, but on my tires I asked like $850 but would have taken $7-750. For my mudflaps I asked 50, but took $30 and knew I wouldn't get the $50.

I'd take what you want to get the price on, and add 20-30% for negotiating. Everyone wants to feel like they won in the end.

Literally don't know it's running unless you're right next to it. Even then the really the only way you know it's going is the little led light that shines on the floor when it's running. It's nice. Our clothes washing machine on the other hand....

I recommend nature's detailer: rain. It's free and if it doesn't get the dirt off your truck drive faster.

I'm mainly looking to get some trail pinstripes taken off. Also had a dog jump on the truck a couple of summers ago and left claw marks down the door. His owner is lucky I had other things to do or I would've given them a bigger piece of my mind.
