There’s some resemblance. Just heard today that it was he best selling vehicle in the US outside of pickups for 2017. I think overall it was fourth.

this makes me want another Rav. I had a standard 2004 AWD and it was simply the best car ive ever owned

Yeah a little, I like it. Off topic but you should see what they did to the front end of the Avalon

I think the front end looks better on it, doesnt have that stupid chin sticking out a foot. They should do the same with the Tacoma's.

Without looking at the front grill, at first I thought it was a refreshed CrossTrek.

Immediately. We'll be shopping for a Crosstrek this summer but if the new RAV is RAD it may be a contender. We need clearance and AWD/4WD because our access road is a serial killer of oil sumps and suspensions.

Those wheels have "Crosstrek competitor" written all over them. Sadly, I don't think Toyota will be offering standard AWD. Much less awd that can compete with Subaru.

I mean, it's basically a lifted Camry, but damn, it definitely looks better

So this is what that FT-AC concept was... Looks great! Love my T4R, but in a few years one of these might make a good replacement.

The RAV as more Camry DNA in it than Corolla. It's 2.5 AR engine/transmission and Hydrid Synergy Drive system have much in common with the last generation Camry and nothing to do with the 'Rolla

i gotta say, for the longest time Toyota produced such bland vehicles. New Tacoma, Camry, Avalon, Highlander and now RAV4 are seriously good looking vehicles. Will be seriously considering the RAV as a replacement for the wife's current car. And if I were in the market for a sedan, I'd be all over that Camry. Looks fast standing still. Finally some life in the lineup.

I'd recommend a Forester over the Crosstrek if you can swing the (minor) price increase. We went through the same thing shopping for my wife in '13 and the Crosstrek was just worse across the board compared to the Forester.
