What makes you think the whole end is done? Usually its just the spherical bearing that goes, you got pics?

Since your shocks are adjustable, move them into the least preloaded setting, use the ones you can rent from autozone and if you want a measure of security, one or two bigass harbor freight ratchet straps.

It is, but you have done much harder. You swapped 4x4 right?
They thread lock those on, so you need to clamp them really hard and use heat. Landon taught me the wood trick, you have to squeeze it so tight it deforms the wood almost all the way around the shaft. Waaaaay tighter than you think, but you won't damage the shaft as long as its a block of wood on each side. I found "wet" types of wood work better because they grip more. Take out the bearing, clamp, heat, and it will pop right off

Auto zones don’t work, tried it once.
Well I think the bearing was bad, for awhile, wallered (if that’s a real word/ right one) out the rod end

I'm not brave enough to do the ratchet straps either. Shop would probably just do it for free anyway ha

Hmmm @Anthony250 used some cheap ones and / or ratchet straps and said it was no problem.

I push mine all the way back towards the hose, add a little air so it stays there. Start assembling the shock and when the seal head gets where the outer seal is going in the body I stop and release the air from the resi, slide the seal head the last inch or two and once its inside the shock body the oil pressure will back the IFP just a little bit so its not bottomed. Everyone has a way but that is easiest for me
