Anyone measure the output voltage (or wattage) for front and rear speakers on the Entune Premium (whatever the best one before the JBL upgrade is) for the 3rd gen.

I decided to check the output voltage of my LOC today and when it's PEGGED (full gain) it puts out .967 volts. Makes me wonder what the original speaker out voltage was because it seems incredibly weak...

    Thanks in advance.

If you can right around volume 47 (3/4s of 62)...

So here’s the setup so you know some of the variables

Factory Entune, fully loaded (step below jbl)
18awg speedwire run behind the back seat to amp (this will create some voltage drop, but not a noticeable amount)
1khz tone (door speakers) and 40hz tone (subwoofer) played via Bluetooth (I bring this up because Bluetooth is the quiestest of all sources on these headunits. Voltages will be higher when using radio, and much higher using CD/aux)
Tested using front speakers (they play louder and have bigger frequency output than rears)

    Volume at 47
1khz got 2.31 volts on the front speakers
40hz got 2.96v on the fronts

As I said, this is via bluetooth. I would expect CD levels to be quite a bit higher.
However, I'm not sure everything was acting right because this equates to just over 2 watts of power at 4ohms.

So either there is a huge voltage drop (not likely, given it's 18awg and only a +/-10ft run) or the bluetooth levels truly are WAY lower than other audio sources.

It is currently pouring rain so I'll give this another shot using CD and AUX sources as well, possibly Monday when I'm back in the shop.

Dude you're the man. Thanks so much. It's raining here too non-stop and I am 'not supposed to work on cars' per my lease so I have to be super careful how much I'm out there. Got reported once for changing my oil because I'm 'too close to the river we live on.' It's ridiculous...

    2023 SR Entune 7” here.
I did not using an oscilloscope but a True RMS multimeter. The measurements I got were using a 20hz - 20 kHz sweep track from the kicker keylock manual being fed by Apple car play , playing direct from the files app over USB cable. All faders and balances were center , all eq settings were 0, and speed compensated volume was off. The true rms multimeters are typically only real life accurate from about 40 or so to 1khz ish. Above 1khz capacitance becomes a problem and reduces the meters accuracy. I only measured a front channel completely unloaded. With volume at Max, and watching for the highest voltage displayed… 12.6 V , which at four ohms equals a max of 40 Watts at 4 ohms. At volume in the mid 40s I was getting about 6.5V . I have noticed that Bluetooth and radio tend to need a higher volume # displayed to sound the same as things over car play.
So for anyone who uses a Kicker keyloc and the 7” Entune , use the “High “ option for the input since it’s more than 10v .
