Was out at TSS in Avondale today shooting and noticed a potential TW member truck in the parking lot. Looked like a 3rd gen black off-road with a winch and spare tired mounted on the tailgate with some Toyo’s. Couldn’t get a pic though, anybody know who that is?

What was the cv angle line with the 887? Boot ripping or wear? I want 887 but not cv issues. Thanks

That is what I want for lift and what I have researched. I guess my particular question is what is the fender to hub measurement with 887, no additional weight. I have heard that 23-23.5 is the sweet spot. I’m just afraid that the 887 and no weight will put me above 24 and or max cv joint. I would prefer to stay just under the max. Or I am just so confused from reading these posts that I have it all messed up.

    I thought the 886 were 660 lb. 402mm
    885 were 590 lb. 395mm
    887 were 590 lb. 400mm

887 supposed to net 3” no weight. Is three inches too much for cv angles? I do plan on running JBA high caster UCA. I don’t have plans of a bumper for a couple years at least. If I do I’ll swap for 886 at that time and give someone a good deal on a set of coils.

887 is taller for no extra weight, 886 is heavier (for bumpers and such)

I am near Clarion. I have decided to just pay a local guy trying to start his business. He is a rough country authorized dealer and has a kit on his truck. So he has the lift basics down anyhow. I try to do business local if i can. The co owner is a Marine vet, so I have to show some love to a brother in arms. Thanks for the response though.

Nice to know there are some others out there. It seemed like everyone on here from PA is from the Eastern side of the state. I am going to take it to Wessex Performance in Sligo. They are a new shop that just opened up. I spoke with the younger owner and he seemed to know more than enough about lifts, but his experience is more along the bigger domestic trucks. They just became an arctic cat dealer as well, so I'm hoping to create a nice partnership with them.

Do you wheel around here? I haven't in years because i got tired of beating my trucks. It seems like all the places I used to go are posted and gated off now though. Did you install your ready lift or take it somewhere?

I saw they opened up not long ago but yes seemed to have their stuff in line pretty well. I don't really wheel. I like my trucks being clean and straight body panels so i stick to ATVs and SXS. And there really aren't too many places that you can get a truck around that I know of. I install all my own stuff as much as I can. I used to work at Vogelbachers in Lucinda for a few years so I take my truck there.

I haven’t really wheeled in years. I like to hunt and fish which gets me into some areas I wanted to be a little more capable of getting into. Old logging roads and no maintenance mostly. I like straight body panels, although I’m pretty prone to minor stuff in the woods. I give it a good wash and wax in spring and that’s it for the year typically. I get the undercarriage really good a few times once the snow is done for the year. There is a really good poker run in callensburg every year for ATV and SXS.
