Your custom plate I bought from you was lost in the tubbs ... I ordered the mount you show above , and going to try attach it with a rivnut/ball, like I did my ultragauge. Maybe to the open area below the 4x4 switch.

 

Yeah that's too bad, but all it really was just a thin sheet of aluminum that I cut out with some sheers and drilled holes. But the Panavise in dash mount is expensive though.

 

Yeah still I could tell you put some time into it and I was going to put my phone and ultragauge on it. Panavise does seem to have a lock on the in-dash mount market, surprised they haven't gotten any competition from a Chinese copier. 30$ is steep for what you get. You can see I bought one for my 07

 

I found three rollers and an aluminum warn one brand new. I'll be using the roller on mine because I'm staying with cable.

No worries, I think Jason still has the roller fairlead that came with the winch cause he was using another with his. I’m gonna have to order a steel hawse though cause i’m not a fan of the rollers.

 

I have a roller hawse that came with my Smittybuilt winch laying unused in my garage if anyone wants it. Free.

I found out for sure that aluminum flat beds or aloy trays are being made in Oroville at precision welding.
I stopped by there for a new hook for my winch and they are building some nice shit in there .

It currently has cable on it. I could see going synthetic eventually but this is good to get me started. Just ordered the cast iron Warn 97900 hawse for $31 shipped

 

I almost talked my mother into swapping the steel one on her cruiser. Kinda went over like a fart in church.

 

I worked on that building when it was built, ugliest building in the sf skyline. The methadone clinic in the alley behind it was always good for entertainment.

 

Yea that's how we spend our breaks lol. Other day dude was power washing side walk and the druggies pushing them out of the alley. He then sprayed under this car and I shit you not at least 30 needles blew out into the street. He was soo pissed lol he had to go put on hazmat gear and pick them all up with a claw. We were all dying laughing.
