I'm looking into a set of bolt on sliders to replace the OEM chrome rails on my OR. I have narrowed it down to mobtown or Rci. I need them to have filler plates for little ones and I like the kick out style but really torn on brands.. are there any true pros and cons to each?

Based on what I've read, both are solid, but @Mobtown Offroad seems to be the most recommended on here.

Even though I went with RCI on my skids, there was never a doubt I would go with Mobtown on my sliders. Still have 0 regrets, and they were compatable.

SOSConcepts is also a great option for sliders. Lots of satisfied customers and they have sales pretty often

Just installed my RCIs yesterday and so I havent gotten to drop them on any rocks yet, but I really like them. The plates that mate to the frame were an excellently made product and the sliders are top notch as well. I researched and waffled and researched and waffled for almost two years trying to make sure I bought the perfect ones. They all have some things I like and some things I dont like. Between those two, you cant really go wrong.

For me the though one of the deciding factors is that I can go pick up the the RCIs so I dont have to pay shipping!

Happy to help. I ordered my sliders from SOS with their Tax Time sale and saved 20%! They may do a Memorial Day Sale if you could wait a bit. Sure would save you some cash too. Might ease the wife’s scorn

When comparing sliders, dont just compare price. There is a big reason why some are less money than others. It's all about materials used, design and attachment method. We are in line with pricing with most options out there.

    With us:

DOM tubing is standard, 100% bolt on, no drilling at all, square tube used for main tube and legs from frame attachment plate to main tube, rear portion of main tube is supported, gussets are placed to the side of the square tube, ours not only thru bolts but also clamps in multiple spots.

We designed and built our sliders in the strongest engineered way possible.

BAMF by far are my favorites which I had on my second gen. I just ordered a pair from SOS for my 3rd gen since they have a 10% code you can always use. Plus shipping is way cheaper then Mobtown or BAMF. So overal with the code and shipping it’s saving over 200 bones.

Gusset placement is important. RCI (and other vendors) do it wrong:

My SOS sliders came in Via Coast Guard c130 lol. They look very well built, great welds and great price on shipping!! Should of got them Powder Coated but I rather paint and touch them up when needed.
