I think the dood was having a new baby soon, so I suspect he'll be tied up for a bit. I'm sure he'll be back around with more of em once things settle down a bit.

As far as I am aware, it is still available, but availability is left up to the website (if it's in stock, it's available). I seem to recall something about another batch coming for end of the month.

For those worried about the heat - I had mine in the sun all day and felt it in the afternoon... it was hot, but not really any hotter than the actual dash in front of it. I was initially concerned, but now I think it's a non-issue, since in my case it actually doesn't touch it (I went tight against the front).

EDIT: After re-reading my comment, I realized the statement “tight against the front” was ambiguous. To clarify, I installed the mount tight against the raised surround (black/silver/gunmetal/orange, depending on your model) and away from the dashboard cover (the item most likely to have an issue, since it is thin with foam under). The piece the mount attaches to isn’t going to suffer any more than the holes you drilled.

Thanks. I’ll hang out for a few weeks and see if he comes back around.

    Thanks. I’ll check the site.

I got a couple of the RAM balls, an arm and a phone holder. Works pretty well, but it cannot be angled downward very much from the ball. It would probably be advantageous if the ball stood about another .5" off the plate. The plate also tilts a bit toward the windshield, contributing to limiting downward movement of the mount arm.

There are quite a number of ball offerings that have various stems/lengths. I have been thinking up different ideas, but haven’t started piecing yet beyond my initial purchase.

That would probably work pretty well! I posted to bring this to everyone's attention, it may be an issue for some, or something to be aware of, so people can get appropriate mounts. If I clip my phone in kinda "high" in the holder, it will stick up above the line of the hood in my field of view. But I can just clip the phone in lower to solve that issue. So this movement limitation may not really be an issue for me, or for anyone else. Just something to know about it!

I just placed my order. Sure wish the TW code still worked, but it came up with an error for me too.

Do they send an email when they send it out? I ordered mine on Saturday and still have not heard anything about whether it has shipped or not.
