    Couple of hours or so. But I'm extremely anal about wiring things. I like it to be hidden and OEM looking. So that accounted for most of the time.

    Installed some Tacoma fog lights on my daughter's Yaris this past weekend. I had the entire front bumper cover off and the driver's side headlight removed just so I could properly route the custom wire harness I made for them. My neighbor is an electrical engineer and he commented on my "extreme attention to detail" with regards to my wiring.

    I would show you pictures of the wiring, but you couldn't see it anyway as it all hidden. And even if you could see it, you wouldn't know what it was because it's all wrapped in OEM looking wire loom. :D

    My point is...it takes me 10x as long to wire something as the average person. o_O

    @ChadsPride

    I've decided that I don't want a full grille guard/brush guard, but just a bull bar type of thing...

    Any recommendations?

    Very cute! How old is your son again?

    P.S. You need to put a sound system in that truck!

    How much, how hard to install, and will there be enough ground clearance on a 5-lug?

    I've already bought items from two other vendors here on TW and have been very satisfied. Third time's the charm!

    Their price is based on shipping location. Check out the link.

    Very easy to install. 4 nuts.

    Yes, it will fit a 5 lug fine. There are 2 different ones...'05-'11 and '12-'15

    You can get them with or without light tabs. They also offer a TW discount

    That jig took 15 minutes to build. When I was done, I took it apart, cut up the pieces and had wood for the fire pit.

    Besides, hanging from a rope....it would've moved around too much

    Also, if I can convince my mom that it'll reduce damage to the truck in the event of an accident, she'll go for it. My mom just isn't passionate about vehicles the way I am...

    My subwoofer arrived today and my mom was nice enough to bring it inside from the rain. She gave me the "you better not blast your radio while driving" lecture, but other than that she comes to terms with the fact that it's my truck and I can do with it what I please!
