    If we had the bar stock it would have been 10mins per side with the metal glue gun. I still have to do it to mine too

    1/4 sq key stock at the hardware store - if you get plated, a soak in vinegar will remoe the plating.

    I tried welding behind the stock tabs.

    Total Chaos setup is much better. My alignment has been holding really well. Huge PITA job, made even worse if you've already welded behind the stock tabs...

    I had no idea this was important. I've heard and read that it is on 2nd gens, haven't heard this in the same volume for 1st gens.


    Now I am confused. Is it an easy job or not?

    What is it that made it so hard?

    Is the steering rack in the way for the rear tabs? I assume there are tabs on the back side of the arms.

    You have to drop the LCAs and chisel off the stock cam tabs then burn in the TC ones. 8x..not a fun job.

    Was a prime time to do it while the LCAs were down. as they dont drop without move the rack out of the way..

    For what we do. It is worth it I think.

    LCAs need to be out, cvs should be out, and the steering rack should be out, or at least unbolted and pulled back.

    Then you have to drill though the spot welds on the stock ones and hammer them off. If you already welded behind bent stock ones like I had, it's a nightmare grinding through all that. Not a lot of room to work in there, especially on the inside ones.

    Worth it though, my alignment held solid all of last year.

    Not usually. But doesn't mean he doesn't do it every once in a while. He like to strech the red heads legs here and there.

    sometimes on purpose...sometimes not..haha

    At least he has life time alignment.
