I'm sitting in class in Atlanta right now. I live about an hour south though. There are tons of great places to eat in Atl. My favorite is 6 Feet Under on Memorial Dr...it's got a rooftop bar and good seafood. If you want a good fancy steak dinner, check out Rathbun's, Hal's, Ruth Chris, or Chops. The Braves are having spring games at the new stadium (Suntrust Park) all week and tickets are cheap. There's an area with cool touristy stuff like the World of Coke, the Aquarium, some nice parks, etc. There's the College Football HOF, Piedmont Park, the CNN Center, the Fox Theatre, the Botanical Gardens, etc.

It's like Beetlejuice...someone said his name too many times.

Man this thread turned the course that's for sure lol. I think there's some good information and bad information put out here. Everyone's responds different to foods and workouts, but generally they all follow a similar baseline. If you eat good food and workout hard, you will see good results. If you eat ok food and work ok you will see OK results...etc.

Cutting and bulking cannot be done too close to each other even if you are on steroids (as a newer lifter - mature lifter is different). These pro competitors are capable of doing this because they have built muscle maturity through years of lifting and AAS. Hardly anyone in here has real muscle maturity. Another thing about steroids is that most of them were developed for cancer patients to REGAIN MUSCLE due to a muscle degeneration disease of some sort. Therefore, it's almost impossible to lose muscle while on steroids. This is also why competitors can bulk and cut so often - along side with the muscle maturity.

I bulked for nearly 4 years before cutting and I kept my cut to about 8 months. Once I dropped down the fat levels a bit I began bulking again, but with cleaner food and a better attitude in the gym. This has helped me maintain lower BF, while still gaining size and strength. After another 16 months of bulking I am about to cut again - this time a more drastic - faster cut. However, not to fast so I lose what I have worked for. The average Joe cannot lose weight too quick or it will remove muscle regardless of how many protons you consume.

As natural people it takes much longer to accomplish anything you do in the gym, for obvious reasons. If you commit to a bulk or cut, expect it to take 3x the length of what you "read or hear". There is so much bull shit on the internet and it's easy to fall for it. Work hard in the gym - watch how the professionals train on youtube. Follow what they do - they obviously do it for a reason - yes they are on gear but that doesn't change how you workout. Eat CLEAN food - don't bull shit yourself into thinking it's ok to eat whatever. Even if you do eat good food make sure it's the right food at the right time. Consistency is key and consistency takes years to show through.

I’ve been listening to this guy who seems to really know his stuff.

    https://youtu.be/wMmy2MlH55U

His delivery is a little humor mixed with straight forward fact. I’ve found his videos extremely informative.

Arbitration last night...Con law 2 tonight

Lol that's the guy that posted on his IG that squatting past parallel was bad or something and all his followers called him out...I commented and said that if he squatted to parallel his sweatpants wouldn't be so loose and he got butthurt.

That being said, I did follow some stuff he said in a video about fixing ATP issues and it worked, so I guess he knows some stuff...just don't listen to him when it comes to squatting.

Well, he is a Physical Therapist so, I would hope he knows his stuff. That’s interesting he wasn’t on point with his advice on doing squats. I’m going to look into it. From what I’ve seen so far, it looks to me like the guy is practicing what he preaches. Just my two cents

Parallel is relative. A proper squat is having your hip crease below the top of your knee. Anything else is redlight and qsg certified
