ok i searched with very little results. i wanna get them in 16x8 and they come in -11" offset. i know EverTaco23 has the 16x8 with no issues, but he's got a 1st gen. is there a difference in the calipers used for 2nd gen? i really dont wanna get a wheel that ill need to run a spacer or grind my caliper. thank.

    josh

ps here they are on 4wp.com if u need to see them

i have the 1069 16x8 not sure of the offset but i had to grind down the caliper just a hair to clear them.
    Or just get spacers.

thanks. theyre the same offset im pretty sure. im tryin to stay away from spacers cause my buddy had them on his taco and they made the front end wobble like hell. how hard was it to shave the caliper?

they are listed in wheelers as 1st gen wheels b/c they claim caliper rubbage as well on the 2nd gens.

^^ well procomp is the manufacturer and wheelers is a retailer, so wheelers still has to get his from the sale. same wheel though. like i stated before, close, but no rubbage....here's a pic for ya...

yeah its not hard to do, just dont over do it. i did and i had a hell of a time fixing it. the spidertrax spacers i hear are good, i've never heard of any wobbling, but i just didnt have 200 to throw at them.

i've only heard of wobbling when the wrong types of spidertrax were used or sometimes if the thin, between the wheel and hub w/ no extra studs spacers were used

i've got the pro comp rock crawler steel wheels......it seems like they're different than the extreme alloys, and they take a lot grinding to make them work :(

pretty sure they're supposed to be hub-centric. but don't quote me on that
