I’m getting rub on the passenger side, when turning right uphill, only with some preload. 255/80/17’s with Toytec ultimate lift. It’s fine on flat at full lock both direction. Ideas?

Plastic liner possibly? When mine did that at end of driveway I stopped as soon as I heard it, got out and saw the contact. pocket knife and a few seconds later, good to go. Or just look for rub marks. Hopefully that's all it is.

Based on other reviews, I think 255/80/17 results in minimal loss

5100's @2.5 and add a leaf. 255/80R17 Cooper ST Maxx.
Calculating for the bigger tires I'm getting 19mpg combined compared to 20mpg with stock tires

I didn’t really see a mpg loss. Your speedometer will be off by a bit though. So 60mph is really 65-66. So you’re gonnna want to gps verify it. If I stayed under 70 on the highway it’ll still get 20-21mpg

Does anyone know how the Cooper ST Maxx run on a 4 banger single cab? And if so what size tires are you running?

Not gonna lie they are heavy and you know they are on the truck. I’m running 255/85-16. I also have an access cab 5 speed, full skids, bumpers, winch, sliders, bedrack with rtt, and a ton of other junk in the truck. With that said I was always able to run 70-75 on the highway unless there was a strong headwind or a long hill then I’d be down in 4th gear with my foot to the floor. I just put 4.88’s in the truck and it made a world of difference.

So it all depends what mods you have done to the truck and what size you want to run. You have a slight advantage being a regular cab but from what I’ve read the auto robs you of a little power so it’s probably a wash

These tires still pull to the right? This is one of my biggest concerns with the ST Maxx and why I'm thinking KM2 or DCEC.

If you're ok with a mud tire (km2) get STT PRO Coopers. Better tire (ive had both)

But I want 255/85R16....STT PRO doesn't come in that size.
