I'd offer to pick them up if they were close by and I was free, but it's a 2+ hour drive one way. :-/

Got a second gen rear end set up for DTF's sua kit. The third is toast but it's there for a core and it's got arp studs and a spare axle shaft. $150 takes it all. Pickup or nearby delivery in SoCal. PM for more info.

Buying a Tundra axle on Saturday.

The truck made it home with the setup so he gave me every assurance that the splines on the shafts should be fine - it was the pinion bearing(s) that were smoking on his last leg of his way home. I haven't opened it up - I was just waiting to do my sua conversion, but the Tundra axle I found for a great deal just made more sense for my truck (the frames on 1st gens are wider in the rear and the Tundras are 3/4" wider per side so I don't need as big of spacers to clear shocks). The pinion flange has been redrilled - I'm not sure for what other vehicle, but bolts up to a 2nd gen.

Shock tabs, bump plates, and spring perches included.

The whole thing could use a good degreasing and some paint, but no major issues were visible to the housing and shafts.

Wait your a second gen why go to a tundra axle. It's only like a inch wider then your rear end is on a second gen

The cheapest dude in town :anonymous:

The 2nd gen axle was plan A. It seemed like less work to go with the Tundy axle - and only cost about $100 or so once I sell the 2nd gen rear end and the pumpkin from the tundra axle so it made sense to go that route....

My goal is to get proficient enough at mig this summer to do my bed cage and sua conversion eventually - probably during next year sometime. I'd like to say I'll get it all done this summer, but I have a feeling it's going to be a long drawn out project - that seems to be the theme of this truck.

Dang lucky yours fit so good, after hours of trimming and cutting I still have a gap between the fender and hood, I bought from advanced fiberglass though so maybe a different fit
