BTW, the VIN tag you showed gives the manufacture date, not the model year. Sept 2000 should be a 2001 model year truck.

Sounds like a future prez in the making. That's how I fucked up and ended up in charge. Made a list of all the stuff that was wrong...then got nominated to fix it.

 

Not in this lifetime, or the next ten. This neighborhood is full of people with more money than sense, and I would have no patience in any sort of leadership role. For example, the other day, in our NextDoor site, one of my neighbors asked for recommendations for water heater service. And by water heater service, I mean flushing. All of the water heaters here are in the garages, making the flushing being a matter of hooking up a garden hose to the hose bib on the bottom, placing the other end of the hose in the driveway, opening bib, closing bib after 5-10 minutes, done. I responded to the lady by telling her exactly that, and stating that there was no need to spend money to get it done. Her response? "I just really don't want to deal with the hot water." I stifled the urge to ask her what exactly she showers with...

Younger crowd? It's more of the crowd who wasnt raised by former military or in/former military themselves. My wife hates when I use that time method but she learned it. She really hates when I use Zulu time though

I never had to use Zulu time, how is that calculated?

 

5 hours foward right now, 6 during daylight savings time

EDIT: at least stateside some we actually have dst

 

It’s based off of the Big Ben clock in London for our time zone add five hours from local time in 24hr format that’s Zulu time.
