TBH not sure yet... I know I didn't get cited (at least at the scene) but didn't talk to the officer before getting a ride in the ambulance to get checked out. Hopefully I'll find out more in the morning along with the insurance and such. Got my Z drivable today so... if I don't get a rental I'm good for now at least.

First off glad your ok. Good thing you have a witness. I was in an accident just like what happend to you. But I had no witness. So i got a ticket and was blamed for the accident because legally the on coming car has the right away. The green arrow means nothing when your turning left onto their lane. I know....I know... STUPID but thats the law and I had to pay for causing an accident and failing to yeild the right away. This was in Texas. If I would have had a witness and seen that I had the green arrow I would have been cleard of those tickets and not be at fault.

Glad your okay! Hopefully the insurance company won't take too long. It took me about 2-3weeks to get my check for my totaled Infiniti.

For that exact reason. Arizona has the same law... it also states if there were 'obvious' circumstances such as speeding or verification of the protected light... then it'd be cleared. Still it's enough to make me uneasy on that front. All trivial at this point though tbh...

Glad to hear you are O.K. And glad that the witness stuck around. I have seen a couple of accidents that I stuck around for. One of them I had to go to court and testify, and I had to come down from Flagstaff. The person I was testifying for gave me a gift card, which I thought was rather nice. She won the case.

In another one I saw, the woman ran a red light. She insisted her light was green even though there were many witnesses stating it was red. The police said the evidence supported her having a green light. They questioned the witnesses a couple times, and then cited her.

Glad to hear everyone is ok. On a side note, I would have immediately ran over to them also, to scream at them for being a idiot and almost killing us all and ruining my truck. Dumbasses not paying attention while driving. They should have their license revoked.

Here are some updated pics. Went down to rip off all the stuff I could for now before the insurance takes it to their lot. The body-shop pretty much just glanced at it and says it's totaled out, though it's up to the claims rep when they get to it probably in the morning. Still waiting on getting more info (police report and others info) until they can make the decision for who is liable. Kinda has be a bit nervous at this point since I didn't get that info at the scene but... it wasn't really important at the time.

I'll probably be listing some stuff for sale in the near future (wet okole's, undercover, weathertechs) but I'm going to hold off in the mean time until I get a new ride (in case I find a good deal on a used 05-08 or something).

    Anyway, here's the pics:

As you can see, the 7ga steel AllPro bumper held up pretty damn well. Can't complain about that one at all.

This would worry me as well. Did you take photos after the accident occurred? Do you know if the other driver was cited?

I only have two photos (none so good one you already saw at the start of the thread). I don't know if the others were cited or not... didn't' really talk to the officer much after my statement before getting a ride to the hospital. After that I haven't heard anything. I'm still waiting on the report though...
