I have two 10L ones for potable water from Lexington Container Company; Level 3 Container Group now

They are indestructible and I trust them over a metal can anytime.

I went with the 2.6 gal. ones because some of the places I camp\stay it is a hell of a long haul from the water source to the site or cabin. And 20L is heavy as hell when full. Plus a 10L will fit under many sink faucets. The 2.6 gal. size is easier to pack around other gear in the back of the truck also. During hunting season or training the dog I always carry at least one to refill his 1 gal. roto molded water container.

With the exchange rate, and because they are made there that would be the smart way to do it LOL. I have an Enhanced Drivers License because of Canada. It isn't that far away and in the fall I am a lot closer to a Doctor in Thunder Bay, ON. than Duluth, Mn. Until I get up in the Sunset Country then I might as well take advantage of works policy and have them send a no cost to me medical air transport. Have to be a float plane though most of the time. Know your getting old"er" when you start to wonder where the nearest doctor is.

Amazes me in the summer just how many Class A motor homes I see on I-94 headed North West pulling expensive boats and a 4x4 or UTV in a 3 vehicle tandem headed to the Northern playground. More money in those setups than my home and everything I own. And it is non stop, especially last few years. Where do you usually go in Canada?

Well kind of remote control, with a little help from Edison I can apply a little electricity if he gets out of hand and wants to go play with a moose or wolf. But mainly so I can see where he is in the woods. Garmin Alpha and he is wearing the latest in doggie fashion, a TT15 collar. I can use the GPS to track him but normally use the Garmin Fenix watch. Not like I don't get my fill of technology during the day. But have to admit I like it. A lot.

Saw another robin this morning here. In a tree above the snow. I hate it when Easter and snow mix but Easter seems awfully early to me this year.

No Scott not a dumb question. Yes last fall I took a rescue Toller in for about 6 months. Didn't work out he had some serious issues. But yeah I picked up another collar for him too so I could track them both.

Jack ended up going back to Texas so I have a second collar yet. Either need to get another dog or sell the collar I suppose. For now Nova and I are happy. Here Nova is with the handheld unit on the tailgate

Yep with a flushing dog you don't want them out any further than 40 yards. Tried going back to an English Setter a few years ago and it drove me nuts he would range out 1,000 yards or more. Which is why I ended up with the Garmin Alpha. That rescue didn't work out either it was more me than the dog, he just ranged too far for me. Found a good home for him in North Dakota with a dentist that hunts birds from the back of a horse. Perfect match and everyone is happy. And I can track my guy now if he gets a wild hair up his butt and takes off on a chase. He can run but he can't hide!

One of these days I would really like to do a true classic quail hunt. A South Carolina mule drawn wagon quail hunt at someplace like Woodside Plantation. Someday...
