    Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    The yellow bucket is all 30 spline solid axle,
    The box is all 27 spline IFS

    79-95 Toyota stuff. All has a deeper hub body that the 95.5-99 Tacoma/runner stuff.

    Dial itself is the same.

    Not sure what the diameter of the Taco axle is, but if there is room and you ran a longer stub with a 30 spline you could run Chromoly gears (longfield) with a solid axle body, or chromoly conversion gears (longfield) with an IFS body and likely end up stronger.

    I have not actually rub lockouts on a Tacoma but I have heard of people breaking the smaller shafts. The 89-95 shaft has a weak spot, and is stupid easy to break anyway.

    I am a little mad at myself for never considering using the 1st gen parts, I have thought about manual hubs on my 2nd gens since my first one.. lol and I have had all of the parts, short of an axle to mate the cv's or a custom outer like you have made. But then I have had so many unit hub failures, every Idea I have come up with has been much more old school.. specifically to get rid of the unit bearing.

    How many of these kits have been sold and installed?

    If all of the parts are toyota except the outer cv’s, can I just buy the outers from you and then source my own hubs/bearings? I have a few 1st gen parts trucks and a hook up on parts.

    What do you sell the individual outers for incase someone wants to order a spare?

    I just ordered a set of outboard joints. I have a few more parts to get and it is on. This will be the 3rd pre runner to 4x4 conversion I have done, but the first 2nd gen. That makes it fun, right? Anyway I cant wait.
