a friend used to make a "boyscout cobbler/cake" thing in a dutch oven. He made it once and it was actually pretty good. Probably similar

Good luck sir. I'm not sure how much you currently eat out but prepare to feel amazing. I recently transitioned from being a fast food junkie to cooking my meals. I definitely recently had that "I'm a gawddanged grownup" moment recently when I looked in my fridge and it was full. My fridge has been full in the past, just not with groceries.

i don't typically go out to eat much, usually after church on sundays and then maybe once everyother week or so we will grab some Mexican or fastfood. my big thing is gonna be like candy and junk food stuff I think, but I plan on making a big batch of granola to kinda snack on, and then my sweet baking game will be in overdrive I imagine haha; brownies for days. I'm not gonna make my own cheese or anything but I wont be cooking stuff from a box, or frozen pizzas and stuff.

A lot of it depends on what you eat at home, as well as quantity. Cutting way back on carbs helped me feel significantly better because I was filling up on meat/veggies/fruit. I traded most beer for whiskey and that alone made a massive difference

It’s a process and meal planning is a big part!

I love carbs, but they arent loving me...I have been cutting back on processed sugars and not eating as much breads. I still love to eat pasta though.

its easy, just have to find raw milk. most stuff today is super pasteurized even if it doesnt say so which isnt good for cheese making.

i watched some videos of them just using whole milk, but I actually went to high school with a guy that has a free range farm down the road from me and he sells raw milk for "animal consumption only"

I grew up on milk out of the bulk tank. I'd seldom turn on the agitator before dipping it and we kept it in a 2 gal. plastic container that you could see though. In the morning when you opened the fridge door you could see half of it was solid cream where the fat had risen. Mom would give me hell. But dad would catch my eye when Mom wasn't looking and nod his head and smile. Which is why I never turned on the agitator. Still have a hard time choking down anything less than whole milk and that took awhile to get used to.

Theres a hippie store here that sells raw milk. Its a bit more expensive but its good. You can also make ricotta cheese from the leftover water/milk solution after you take the main portion to make mozzarella
