HAHA I was suppose to go to Maui in July but we cancelled that trip. And Cabo... yea I already have a flight booked there for August woot!

 

we usually go in august. This yr we are taking more time to camp. The zip line tour with cabo adventures is a must. Mango deck great place for lunch and some good entertainment.

 

Going there for a bachelor party. May have to hit you up for details. I gotta do my best man duties and plan everything.

@MJonaGS32 , where'd you get those nylon spacers? I'm having trouble find the right size.

 

I got them from my local hardware store - Dale's Hardware. I believe its an ACE so those are everywhere in case you can't make your way back up here.

 

Thanks man. I went the other route and bought different clamps to fit the spacers that I did find.

Nice! It was a good idea when I did it, but I honestly hardly ever tilt it. Maybe ~4 times total in all the trips I've done since

 

In other news, I've been neglecting to update this thread. So here it goes...

Been busy all summer doing a bunch of trips. On one trip, my brakes went out and I hit a tree, which then broke and fell on top of my truck. My Relentless bumper took it like a champ and prevented the front end from being damaged anymore than it did.

The portion of the tree that fell on top (~15 ft) broke my solar panel and RTT. And recently realized that it bent my BAMF bed rack a little, however the rack held its own and prevented it from damaging the bedsides because its connected to the bed bolts and frame. After we ghetto rigged the brakes so it wouldn't leak anymore fluid, we found camp.

Used an old brake line + bolt + silicone + locktite + anything anyone had to stop it from leaking aka GHETTO RIGGED! haha

But the next day when I was coming down Poker Flat OHV to get home, I was engine braking in 4 Lo to help because my brakes were shot, then my clutch blew. Needless to say I had a lot to fix on my truck before the next weekend because of the TW camping trip that I was hosting - which by the way was a damn good time.

That was the first time my truck had ever been towed home. It's been 10+ years with the truck with me abusing the hell out of it. So I decided to treat her with a few toys:

SCS SR8 wheels + new tires

Maxtrax recovery boards

Plano rifle case (for recovery gear)
Replaced solar panel


Tepui Ruggedized Autana
Mean Mother synthetic winch line
BAMF 1/4" skids

And sometime earlier in the summer I added a Road Shower with custom BAMF mounts and a Husqvarna chainsaw



Currently waiting for my new Relentless bumper, then I'll throw in the new halo head lights, foglights, etc

 

Good to know. I figure I've got a bunch of 1" Aluminum angle lying around I can use up on it so why not?

 

Any overall or front end pictures with the new wheels? Are you still running spacers with them?

 

Yea I'll get some in a sec. I don't run spacers on the front wheels anymore, but still have to in the rear because of the BAMF shock relocation kit

 

How are you liking the new tires?
