This that and the other thing.
I roll them up and just tightly wrap electrical tape around it. that's what I do with ratchet straps anyways when there is that extra strap after tightening, I hate seeing it flapping around and knots always come undone, I roll and tape, I do like Skips idea of sewing some king of Velcro on tho

Velcro seems like a great idea. In the meantime try using Gaffers tape instead of electrical tape. Gaffers tape does not leave sticky residue behind

thanks man, I will keep that in mind  it is only ever on there while the ratchet straps are in use which is rare, and also only ever for a short period of time so it doesn't seem to leave any residue behind. when I store them I roll them up and wrap them with velcro straps.

Plot twist. @EatSleepTacos had a baby while in Florida. Baby momma found out he is MD after the 4LO PRO license plates came back registered to him and his new address. Baby was bubble wrapped and shipped via USPS.

    How did I do Brian?

FYI you have been slacking homie

That is some "who shot JR" level plot twists there. If any of you even know what that means.

On another note, I know most of you have done suspension upgrades. Some of you multiple times. Have had my truck almost a year next month and it has always rode rough, teeth jarring kind of rough.

It had Toytec 2.5s on the front and a 2 inch block on the back with flat leaf springs. All the shocks looked rough since the day I bought it. Just figured it was a lifted truck and was to be expected, somewhat.

Recently I bought some used 5100s with 887 coils, Skip sold me his 4 leaf TSB pack, Toytec 2.5 progressive AAL, wheelers superbumps in the front and the GM bumpstops in the rear. Installed it all over the past weekend and did the alignment Monday. Only drove it like a total of 5 miles to shop and back.

Well, today I took off work at noon and did a roadtrip to SOS concepts to pick up my WIY bumper kit. Almost 4 hour round trip and SC has some of the roughest roads in the country. Truck drove like a dream, floated over everything, no jar, no thud, nothing. Like riding on a cloud. I had a huge smile on my face the whole trip, music up..window down.....cruising like a boss.

I had no clue these trucks could be this smooth. I fell in love with it all over again. For a total of 500 bucks, my trucking life changed for the better.

    -end of schoolgirl gushing episode-

Nice! I've been thinking about ordering one for my cap but I'm not sure if I should get the 5ft or 6ft for the mid rise cap.

@EatSleepTacos how has your brake lines been riding since cutting the bracket that they ride in? I was doing some flexing on the rear today with a jack and noticed that they were still getting tight. I want yo cut my brackets too but am afraid that the lines will just dance around back there anf get hung up on the bracket on my dakars when I flex it.
