First real run with the 255’s, gas mileage seems to be about the same really but can definitely see a difference in power which is fine, it’s not a race car.

Seemed to have trimmed/ hit everything that rubs I think.

    Here’s some poser pictures:

Cool way to save money ! ,looks good,
I paid the $545 line X :smack:, that and the remote starter and all fluids changed to synthetic are the most expensive items dropped in my little Tacoma, NO more Christmas , anniversary , birthday etc gifts for me until 9-2020:smack:

can anyone give me some info on these torx bolts for the door assembly? Possibly a source to buy some outside of going straight through Toyota. I think they’re T55 in size but I can’t seem to find any online. I was down to 1 out of 3 on my driver door. It wouldn’t shut so I took one from the back door to hold me over until I can get more.

I was thinking about hitting NAPA after work today to see if they had em but I was scouting online and couldn’t find anything. Thought it was strange. Thanks!

    What's funny is, I don't have a transfer case.

BUT it's fixed. Looks like the grey wire mod was the culprit.

I don' know where you are in so cal, but if you are near Whittier, there is a store named Battles Hardware on Whittier Blvd that has every screw I have ever needed, including the ones that hold our tiedown hooks in the bed. Mine were all rusty, they had exact replacement.

Played around to see how much more the suspension would cycle without a sway bar, feels a lot better the body doesn’t roll as bad when flexed out. Also my bosses jeep Cherokee wouldn’t climb this hill for some reason so had to show him how it’s done

Finished my lift. Picked up about an inch and a quarter or so. The ride is firm but not harsh by any means and the truck sits perfectly level. I may go back in this summer and raise the 5100 to the .67" mark when things are done settling, as I can also raise my lift shackle up another half inch as well. Will post pics tomorrow when it's light outside.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
The short answer is maybe. Depends on if the manufacturer of the shell was making it really sleek or not. The extended cabs have a rounded back end of the cab and the regular cab is fairly vertical. Chances are if it was originally from a regular cab it'll fit but the gap between it and the cab will just be very large.

I dunno what MBN means, Utah had a law last year because of the snow, not this year though, surprised the division didn't follow the other states.

I'm sure you guys have some people out breaking that law though, we did...
