Correct and it may actually help with the little extra clearance.

    I thought the same

Problem is though that it doesn’t cover the entire plate so the inside single bolt would be thin and bend to meet the bumper

What are those light called? Your Amazon link isn't working for me for some reason.

Also I fully acknowledge my lack of internet searching ability, I'll use the fact that I am currently in lecture as my excuse

The bumper began to move so i stopped, if you want this as a highlift point reinforce the support for sure.

Do you think you could mount Morimoto XB LED fog lights in this bumper without too much trouble? I have actually been wondering this.

Could be possible but it will take some jerry rigging. I did these ones because A they are 6$ each, and B they just bolt right in after you zip off the side mounting tabs for the fogs on the bumper

Your idea sounds viable, but you should try and see.!

Just thought about it some more

This idea will not work what so ever. Only solution is new stronger mounts (cut/weld)

I will be welding the support sometime next week - works been super busy.

I'm actually in contact w/ Glorifiedwelder in Valencia and will be chopping out the existing grill hoop in favor for something taller, in addition to creating headlight hoops.

I'll be using the KORE's when my replacement, hopefully undamaged, bumper arrives next week. They seem like they'll do the job nicely. If I had known I wouldn't have been able to install my bumper until next week I'd of made the plates myself.

Where are y'all buying your All-Pro hitch for this rear bumper? Fabbing the stock one into this bumper won't work too well.

Installed the rear bumper today. IDK if I was expecting too much or if I got a bad one but it doesn't match the contour of the truck worth a shit.
It sits 1/2" further to the right than the left
Has a big (much bigger than necessary) gap between bumper and tailgate
Has a big (much bigger than necessary) gap between the bottom of tail lights & bumper
Has a big (much bigger than necessary) gap between the front of the sides & the fender
The slant between the front of the sides & the fender is awful, uneven & doesn't have the correct angle
I don't see how adding any washers will change any of the fitment, as it squeezes the outside of the frame "horns" but I'm going to try to fix some of this.
As of now, it's not worth the savings for the horrific fitment. Hopefully my 2nd front bumper arrives undamaged & fits better than this thing.
