Did the stubby antenna install today, I think they look perfect on the truck. Hopefully the reception is good, we'll see tomorrow.

Ordered an old land cruiser 80 series grille last week for cheap. Refurbished and installed it today. Took some cowboy inginuity but I'm pleased with how it turned out. Way cheaper than the TRD PRO grille I wanted.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

The same shit everyone else has.
Finished up the ML-ACR rocker switch install.

I also sorted out the clutch safety switch bypass, which allowed me to hide the dashboard mounted clutch bypass switch behind the dashboard since its no longer needed. I moved the RCSA switch to where the clutch switch was and the ML-ACR switch sits where the RCSA switch was.

Insurance totaled mine and the tow truck was supposed to pick it up today, not sure if they did. I got $14,258 for it and paid $14k even almost four years ago. Hell of a truck and did everything from demanding mountain trails to a backup Uber vehicle.

Very curious about the grille. Do you have any pics by its self or without the bumper in front?

Sorry man I don't, it's an 80 series land cruiser grille I ordered off of eBay. Cleaned up, taped off and painted the middle with gunmetal and the rest black. Used my grille surround and Fab'd it to accept the 80 series grille. The "TOYOTA" was chrome, but I hate chrome and just painted the middle section in gunmetal. I like how the "TOYOTA" is subdued but still noticeable. I'll admit it took the biggest part of the day to get it just right, but I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Everything lined up nicely and looks like it was made for it.

Really digging your silver/black theme. The new feet work well! Also points for the SR5 decals.

Curious on that. I mostly listen to the radio but dig the stubby.
