Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
They did get the tuning right on the Baja!

Even better than the Pro, although both are good.

Anyone running 1" wheel spacers with these Baja faux beadlock wheels? I just want to know if the wheel studs would have to be trimmed.

No they shouldn't have to be trimmed. There are recesses on the backside of the wheel the studs should be able to fit into.

Damn rod I know the feeling there. Dude I think your build thread was one of the first ones I started chatting in. Looks like the scs wheels replaced the red beadlocks!

Yup I remember, good old red only lasted a couple of months on, until I realize it did not go well with blue lol. I painted the rings black after that and kept it that way for some time, happier now with the SCS Wheels. They have been on for about a week now and couldn't be more please.

I'm not stuffing big tires, only running 265/75 right now. They're just rubbing my secondary shocks up front at full lock. I'm also getting the rear done wirh TC shock relocation hoops, and those would require spacers to clear the shocks also.

I know this has probably been asked in here but I used the search function and didn't find an exact answer.

I have a 2014 baja with a leer 100xr on the back. I've got the convex leaf problem going on which makes the front sit higher than the rear, especially when going camping. I'd like to retain the stock ride as much as possible but level the truck out. What rear leaf pack do you guys recommend? Dakar, all pro, etc?

Thanks, this is my first tacoma and i'm loving it. Still trying to figure all the intricacies out.

But with the stock lift on the front of his Baja, coupled with his shell - Dakars should yield a stockish rake on the truck, yes? And provide the capacity to not bro lean when his camping gear is back there.

Correct me if I'm wrong here...

This is exactly my thoughts as well. From what I understand, the baja is lifted 2" front and 1.5" back over a stock tacoma. So using a leaf pack which adds approximately 2.5" should level things out. Maybe someone who has done this before could chime in?

Just to clarify, to make sure I'm understanding correctly...

The baja trucks did not receive any lift in the rear, only the front?

Got it. Thanks. So you think a leaf pack from deaver springs will level the truck out and keep the same ride?

A TRD OR built into a Baja/PRO hybrid
Dakar EL095R with the bigger overload removed yields a stock rake on my truck with no bed cap. With just a cap, I'd expect similar performance. With cap and weight ~200 lbs (bed slide, metal rear bumper with swingout, ect.) I'd say run the EL095R's as they come with both overloads in place.

More info in my build thread, but in short, for those running the Baja or Pro suspensions looking for a total leaf pack replacement the Dakar EL095R is a solid choice that maintains a factory appearing raked stance. It rides great unloaded. Whether or not you run without the big overload or with both overloads in place depends on what you carry in your bed on a regular basis.

I think a Dakar pack with the third leaf and one overload leaf removed from the pack is what you need. Not too stiff, and the overall lift will be around 2.5", but the shell will keep it around 2". A little rake that levels out when you add stuff to the bed.

I had that setup before and it was great. With the Dakar, you can always add or remove leafs to your liking.

This is true of the old Dakar springs. The new standard duty Dakars don't have that third leaf to remove, it's already out. The current HD Dakars are what the old standard Dakars were, with that 3rd leaf in place.

Thats a bummer, do you know of any leaf packs that have the ability to add and remove leafs?

Also, if this lifts the rear about 2 inches, will I need to do anything else like longer brake lines or different bushings?

Thanks guys, wealth of knowledge on here
