I had the same thing happen last summer. Mine were rebuilt completely and the shock body was grindededed down before reninstalling them. Apparently that step is listed in the Icon instructions but not in the Fox instructions. Both of my rear hoses were cut and leaked everywhere.

Did you have luck getting Fox to replace them under warranty? I explicitly called out in my description to them that I tried to give that hose as much relief as possible but the instructions *did not* mention grinding down the mount so I didn't. Even if it's not a product failure, it's sure as hell an instruction failure.

I had a local shop install mine. They didn’t even bother with Fox. They sent them out to be rebuilt by their usual shock guy. They installed Billsteins for me while they were rebuilt. I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with that too. I wish I had more encouraging words for you. It’s really lame and I can only imagine we aren’t the only two people having the same issue. Let me know how it ends up going.

Yeah it's a real crapshoot. When they end up rebuilding them, be it a warranty replacement or an out of my pocket replacement, I'm gonna ask if they can put one of the steel 90 degree fittings on that hose and then just turn them so the hose exits perpendicular to the wheel and avoid the mount altogether. I'll let you know what ends up happening. They havent even acknowledged receiving them yet, even though tracking said they got there like Tuesday

Me too. When I found a source locally, I had to jump on them. I loved my F5s but I was ready for a change.

Nice build! I did the same thing for my Doberman in my access cab. He still sits on the center column.
