    Morning Taco World.

Looking to put some different wheels and tires on my truck because summer is coming up and I've got tons of vacation time stored away for traveling. I'm looking at pairing some AT's or MT's with ProComp 7069's because they're cheaper and I think they have the least amount of flare.

I've got some Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my wifes Escape and I like them but I want something comparable in price and a little more aggressive looking. Something that's great for summer and winter with all weather conditions. Preferably around or under 500 for all four (excluding tax, etc). Also, it's a stock 17 SR5 DCLB and I was wanting the biggest tires I can fit without rubbing, etc.

I was looking at the Hankook Dynapro ATM's but they look similar in terms of aggressiveness to my Discoverer AT3's.

    What do you guys suggest?

    Thanks!

Falken Wildpeak AT3. Great tire for the money, quiet on the road and great in the rain/snow. Not as aggressive looking as a KO2 but still looks good.

I've run 3 sets of Toyo ATII in Extreme tread now and they're great tires that last a LONG time, also can't go wrong with BFG's.

I understand most folks are on a budget, however, I would invest in good tires. I have had Falken AT3’s and I did not have any issues. Great all around. 1ADCF21C-DA31-448E-B952-8580BEE3A95D.jpg

Moved to a bigger tire with Duratracs and they were good. A bit loud though.

Now I moved to Cooper STT Pro’s and I think I finally found a tire that I will stick with.

I guess it will depend on what kind of driving conditions you will be driving in.

I went by the tire shop this morning and ordered my new rubber.

    Firestone Destination MT2's.

I'd been considering simply going with another set of their AT's which have given 50K+ on three different 4x4 truck in the past....ride great and look great........but I simply wanted something more aggressive this time around.

Should arrive and be mounted up midweek next week.

Now I just have to decide white letters out or black letters out......

Very tempting as they also make their Destination AT' in a special edition model that has a camo effect molded into the sidewalls. It looks super cool when clean & shiny......and even better when it gets some mud dried on the sidewall and the camo effect really jumps out. A buddy has a set and I may, at some point run them on my Tacoma. I'll see how these MT2's do first.

Damnit this forum does not encourage very good habits that will sit well with my lady.. That special edition sidewall camo would look superb with my gunmetal grey taco.
