I think I’m gonna pass on it. The more I see color matched shells the more I like them.

It really does! Glad I didn’t go and buy that silver shell now.

Unless you have a long bed then you need some contrast to break up all the same color or at least for certain colors. Like my truck looks smaller with the black cap than the silver. Color matched looks sick on the SB and AC

Color matched is where it’s at...I had a black shell until I was able to find a Pyrite one. The Black wasn’t bad but bothered me just enough that I had to keep looking. I had the black one lined up to be painted to match but found my current one just in time.

Some colors just look better with a black cap than others. Any of lighter colors are good and anything darker than red or blue just looks off to me.

May or may not have found a MGM cap in NC. Stay tuned in this episode of “Will Tammy finally get capped?” Lol

That's cool my beach house is down there! There are a couple of guys kinda near that area @Dangerdave @nastyneight and others that may be willing to help you out and go check it out or what not. Let me know when you head down there I may be able to go down and help ya if you go sometime next week.

Yeah I’m shooting for either Monday night or Tuesday if I can get a half day off work.

It looks to be in awesome shape from the pics. It’s an older guy who’s selling it so I’m sure it was taken care of.

Yeah he’s giving it to me for $350 because he can’t find the key for the lock. So I’ll just buy a new lock for like $20-$30.

Edit: I think he bought it new for like $1600

Damn thats even better but I bet you could go to a leer dealer they look up the lock # that's on the back of the lock and can get you a key for cheaper than that.

Oh for sure! Same distance as the other shell I was gonna go get. So happy I waited on a color matched. This thing is gonna be sweet!

Wait what same distance to Sneads and Wilson or to that other one in Ga? I would think Wilson would be closer to you than Sneads. Good score I think in your color a color matched one looks a lot better than like my truck where an off color one doesn't look bad.
