Black or Chrome Rims?

I have a 2010 gray mettalic 4door TRD, all the logos and stickers are off. im thinking 20 inch rims, but i dont know if i want black or chrome. help a taco brother out

 

20?!!! Dude.... it's your ride, but I'd stick with 16's to 17's with black wheels. Big wheels equals less tire which defeat the purpose of going off road, unless your planning on staying on the street all the time.

 

i know i know, but i got 18 inch fuel off octane's on order, should i stick with them?

 

18 are cool i have 17's on my truck and they look great i think and you still have alot of tire to hope curbs if you dont want to wait for stupied drivers and have no fear off road! my 2 cents!

 

I had the 20's on my Ram, I hated them. They rode horrible compared to the 17's i had. 18's would be fine, but i wouldnt go any bigger than that.

IMHO i like the matte black wheels on the magnetic grey trucks. They look sweet. I own a Indigo Ink ( dark blue) I dont think I can get away with the black wheels. I would need to go chrome or grey. I am looking into some grey TRD FJ's though.

I agree with everybody else stick with 16's, 17's or 18's.

 

18 or less. No chrome. Polished aluminum or black.

 

Stay under 18. Black!

 

I say black only because chrome is so hard to take care of.

Agreed. I have polished aluminum and they're not too blingy.

 

Why not both black and machined finish. 17's with a +10 offset.

Ahh the eternal arguement, black or white.
Well it's gotta be black with black rim, chrome with others including white, but white rims only with white. Right?

20 is way to big go no more than 18 and go with black

 

yeah i got that, thanks for the opinion. the only real reason i was gonna go 20 was because i know i guy in town with 20 inch chrome american racing rims and it just looks so fly !

 

id say chrome but maybe not 20". 18 or 17 is more my style with more of the tire cushon for the offroad haha but if your all on street go for it
