    Ill have to look at what I odered later. A tree or concrete beam should apply enough pressure to flex that spring. Hope so anyways.

    I think I shreaded my antenna a little last night. I don't have the spring on it, and I hit some low branches on some trees. I was surprised at the amount of flexing, when I bent it by hand I could hear Cracking and the plastic coating on the antenna is coming off. Cheap antenna maybe, but the cracking is definitely the sound fiberglass makes before snapping.. gr.

    Need to get one of those springs on there ASAP.

    :ohsnap: you guys will klill me for this but just found out from my boss that i am flying out to Dallas with him Sunday morning for a Conference on Monday. now we have a prblem since the meet is at my house ... Dam this sucks .. Im sorry but i dint expect this to come up .. i knew i had to go but dimt know it was this coming MOnday i was told it was the one after that but my boss was confused with the dates. :anonymous:

    i have a 2000 tacoma prerunner xtra cab i wantd my cb to be mobile so i cut a 10 and a quarter inch long peice of 2x4 and wedged it in between arm rest and seat and mounted cb on end of board.
