    i think it differs from brand to brand. but mine is molded into the body. its a very simple install, gets rid of the brackets that mount the stock bumper. Im not sure about the spare tire i dont carry one.

    So I took my calipers off to send them off to powder coat. And since my wife was home from work and watching our son I decided I'd get some more work done.

    A long time ago I replaced the stock core support that was cut up due to a precious intercooler install. At the time I was only able to find a core support from a 98. So I had to modify the headlight mounts in order to run my 95 front.

    With that being said I didn't do a very good job of it and the headlight fitment was a bit off. So I picked up a 95 core support and started the swap.

    I will be making it a bolt on core support in case I ever want to replace it again with a newer front end.

    That's what I figured. It looked funny to see a truck literally on crutches. Lol.
    Front end looks nice. Been cool to follow your truck through all its stages.

    When you built that intake tube you currently have, what did you use to make the IAC port connection?

    Just used a step drill and found some small diameter tubing that fit the hose then had that welded to the intake tube. Pretty simple.

    Nice. I was making one this past weekend and did the step drill thing too. I threaded in a 90* copper fitting in the hole. I wasn't sure if that was the "correct" way to do it. Or if it really makes too much of a difference as long as it gets some kind of air flow.

    Pro tip: don't buy non oem grill clips, they're garbage.

    Got the oem clips in and the grill mounted up.

    I used to lol but I pulled it out when I turbod it. Still have the head unit and upgraded door speakers but no sub.
