Don't misread me, I know Savage's upper end rifles are good, But the expenses that haves come across my table as far as there lower end rim fires and axis line, are Dog Shit! Now on the other hand, the guy across the street has a nicer savage rim fires (17hmr) and it performs nicely with the exception of constant issues with the mags bending and not feeding until he went with SS ones

Took me a minute to notice it in the first place, too.

Got the CZ 455 out to the range this morning. Trigger could be better and bolt is a little stiff but shoots good. First time using the Athlon scope too. I am really liking the scope. Nice and clear and the scope tracks beautifully. Need more testing but for now it is worth the money. The gun liked the RWS target rifle ammo but the two others I tried were terrible. Going to take out some more ammo to try tomorrow, hoping it likes the Wold match as I have several bricks of that.

My dads 455 actually likes the CCI standard velocity if you have any to try. Well out to 50 yards or so at least. It even does pretty well with federal bulk surprisingly. Though we get the occasional flyer with that stuff.

Got my minimalist blast shield for my Griffin Optimus and I like how much shorter it is, slipped the full size extension onto my 16" 6.8 upper (no muzzle device) and the suppressor will fit inside the hand guard, so now I need to SBR that lower, get a 12.5" ARP barrel and swap the barrel out once the tax stamp comes back. Damn suppressor just cost me a lot more, now I need to get reloading supplies for the 6.8 on top of the barrel and SBR lower.

And of course a pic of it on my 11.5" 556.

A 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and .308 BCG cost a little more than a months rent, WTF??

Thank you, too bad I’ll only be able to enjoy it for a few rounds (likely less than 40) before it leaves, I’m building it for my cousin who is a ‘yote hunter in OK/Tx, I’ll probably shoot it just enough to get addicted to it.

I was just about to say that! The 6.5 Creedmoor is just a bitchen round to shoot!.............and before anybody pipes in with what round they think is the best. we all have our favorites. This one is mine! The numbers don't lie, there is virtually no recoil and yet it will out run the 308 all day long and its still considered a short action round. (G1) BC of .610, theres not a short action that can come close to that, (hell, there are multiple long actions that can't get into those numbers). I have actually had 120 pound females behind my 6.5 and they just kept shooting because they loved it With no issues of recoil. You all can keep your ass kicken Magnum rounds, i've been there, done that, and found the superior round (IMO). (except for the 375 cheytac, but that's just too expensive to shoot)end of sales pitch!:D

Got to see the p365 in person finally. I can't believe how small it is, the grip is perfect for my hands. They said they're all sold out for the next month or so

Looks interesting. I don't follow the newest handguns so intrigued about this one. New offering from Sig? What caliber? I like the contoured grip, similar to the H&K I have shot.

    Thanks!
I like my Sig p238 for summer carry as it fits in cargo shorts easily. It's not the greatest to shoot but not bad. If it fits you and you like it go for it!!!!

You should not have done that. I might have to look at a new summer carry piece! :spending:
