I have been looking for the name of the street for awhile but can't seem to find it anymore. There is a road close to Lawrenceburg, IN that has some creek crossings and dirt. Anyone know the name of this? I'm almost positive it is off of Route 1.

I think it must be Bonnel Road. I have a buddy that’s building a house in Guilford and we were talking about it. Thanks!

SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
I wasn’t aware that other brands used Toyota ball joints,,,, this is the first negative thing I’ve read about them.
If the REAL uca’s were sufficient I wouldn’t have to replace them.
    My money, my UCA’s

I think the chevy joints would be a plus....easy to source if needed.

It is your money and you can do what you want. I was only suggesting.

Consider what the JBA is....a piece of plate steel welded between 2 tube arms with a chevy ball joint slapped on the top of the plate. It looks more like something any one of us would come up with in an attempt to "DIY" our own front UCAs. It is a flat out outdated and inferior design as compared to TC/DK/Camburg type arms.

If the "real uca's were sufficient" enough? What kind of nonsense is that? Toyota is supposed to account for your lift when their building their trucks?

After I put on my lift I started finding out that anything over 1” of lift was needing new UCA’s. So ya, I think Toyota cheaped out.
From what I’m reading SPC has shitty costumer service, and they break too easy. Total Chaos or Camburgs would be nice, but are too expensive. My main reason for new UCA’s is because seeing the positive camber on my truck bugs the shit out of me.

The being mad at Toyota thing is a bit silly, don't you think?

Buy once. Cry once. Save the extra $1/200, how long can it really take? You've already come far enough, get what you really want.

$26k before everything else gets added on for a 5 year old truck,,,,

Mama and the kids get the nice cars, so it’s the nicest and newest vehicle I’ve ever had and don’t regret getting it. That being said, I feel that more flexibility should have been built-in.

Thanks for the input. Camburgs are much closer and price than what I initially thought I had seen.

Just a note, JBA gets rave reviews on their UCAs from everyone I'm aware of running them, regardless of the "Chevy ball joint"

How difficult is it to remove and replace front rotors and pads on my 2014 DCDB 4x4?

I’m at 110,000 miles on the original rotors and 55,000 on my second set of pads. I guess I should change out brake fluid too.

I’ve never done any of these 3 tasks personally.

Also if there’s any interest in having a swap meet, I have OEM RoofRacks that I removed to put on my Prinsu rack. They fit 2nd Gen double cabs for sure and supposedly the 3rd Gen also.

How much for the roof rack?

    Pads are easy.
Rotors can be a bitch if they dont want to come off. BFH.
