I'm guessing the difference is AllData Pro includes proprietary Manufacturer info like how many hours it should take to do a repair and how much it pays. Stuff like that.

Bolt up? No, you'd have to make brackets to hold it in line over the A/C compressor or on the other side of the engine by the alt. But it only makes like 3-6lbs of boost so it wouldn't even need tuning, the ECU could account for it just fine on its own, plus you could turn it off with the flip of a switch because of the whole electric clutch deal.

Yeah, you don't even want to know my opinion on all of that, I remember when Hybrids were the new thing and they got free passes. Only Cali vehicle legislature I really like has to do with lane splitting and filtering.

Cali's laws pertaining to cars is just a huge black hole...

Prius drivers are some of the worst drivers in the world. Seriously. I'd say 1/4 of all cars in California is the Toyota Prius.

Yeah it is a turn signal cancel cam, it sits in the column behind the clock spring. Almost guarantee it would be ultra cheap at a junkyard and the ones from 2wd models should fit fine.

Yeah just gotta pull the steering wheel, clockspring, and then you can get to it. Be careful not to turn turn the clockspring or the column after you separate them though.

I kinda want to get rid of the P0141 code the truck has been throwing for 6 years, which is well before I owned it. I'm guessing the cat is bad and its a California emissions truck. Any cheaper way of getting it to go away aside from pulling the bulb or putting tape over the light. Just don't feel like spending a bunch of money to basically get a light to go away.

P0141 is an O2 heater circuit code, not a cat code (P0420), you need a new O2 sensor. You need an O2 for after the cat.

Well good thing I have one sitting on the shelf of parts that I need to put in. I just thought I read somewhere that the cat could also be bad causing the code. I dont know how I'm gonna get those rusty nuts off the studs lol

Nope, it is a tossup between cat and sensor when the code is a P0420, but P0141 is simple either the wiring to the O2 sensor is faulty or the sensor is faulty and 99% of the time it is the sensor.

Can't you pretty easily test those to see if they're bad?

Yeah you can test the heater circuit with a headlight and some clip leads, you can halfway test it with just a normal test lamp (doesn't draw enough current to make sure the circuit can pass the amperage necessary though). You can test the sensor with a multimeter but there are some stipulations to that and I forget what they are.
