Good luck! I haven't done that since I was a kid but I always enjoyed it.

Morning all. Coloring eggs here too - have to enjoy it while you can. My daughter is just shy of her 17th birthday. Before I know it, she'll be out on her own...

Edit: egg coloring won't be until this afternoon. After all. Teenagers don't get up until noon...

Up to a two week longer wait on my new truck. I am guessing it missed a truck or something and they have to wait to fill another one headed out this way.

Which means oil change on the Tacoma today. I am up to 8k and feel I should do it, and new headlight bulbs because one of the Silverstar bulbs gave up in probably 6 months.

@DrFunker Ive finally gotten out with my fly rod this week and a local pond. practiced casting and strip sets. caught a total of about 15ish fish, mostly croppie and bluegills. Its been a great week learning how to use a fly rod. That being said, Im ready to hit some trout rivers when you are!!!

Ok guys & gal, I have a legitimate truck question:

I'm in the market for UCA's. Truck set up is aftermarket wheels in the summer 4 1/4" BS, stock steel wheels in the winter which have something like 4 1/2-4 5/8" BS. Next set of tires is going to be 255/85R16 pizza cutters. I'd get the JBA's but see the warning that they will not fit 33" tires with BS more than 4 1/2". Otherwise it's LR's or similar. Has anyone run or seen JBAs with stock steel wheels and 33" tires without spacers?

Yeah, I know... Ask on the JBA thread. I would like to avoid the BS of mine's better and get a more factual response...

Seeing that the Deerfield has been great recently. Brown's being caught there.
    I am so ready!

Do you and @LivinLoud eat everything, or any catch and release? I ask because if you catch and release, you should release them into my pond!! Been trying to find someone in state who stocks fish since I don't want to apply for a transfer permit from out of state. My brother and his wife like fishing but last time we stocked it a heron moved in, ate everything and left... So we haven't tried in about 10 years and the person we used to use closed shop.

I c&r everything. Heron are freaking beasts! Used to work on a wildlife reservation. Night Heron, in one night, wiped out an entire colony of terns. It was a huge colony too. They gobbled them up like little fluffy marshmallows.

We built a pond at a friends place in Stratton and stocked it with native brookies.
Some grew quite large until the Herons moved in and pretty much wiped them out.

@DrFunker if you ever want to see if there are fish in my river, you're welcome to! I heard Vermont stocks it not far upstream. It's moving pretty decently right now from the snow melt.
