    Hi all,

Was just putting on some nurf bars on my new 2017 TRD Sport MGM with 30 miles on it from the factory. When I was down on the ground I noticed about the bottom 8 inches of the of the body/paint has a texture to it all the way around the truck on both sides (not on the plastic painted trim). Is this normal? It's consistant all the way around both sides but it's not a smooth transition.

Is this normal or some form of protection? Just want to make sure or if I need to go back to the dealer.

    Thanks,
    Hawk

Normal the smarter companies texture this area so it's not as prone to having paint chip off

Totally normal, I think almost all new vehicles have lower body chip resistant paint.

I like your rails. They've worked out really good for me, too.
