Did you see the pictures I have posted of my rear? Also make sure your bed is straight.

Does it fit worse than mine?

That is not right. Are you sure you installed it properly ?

It looks like you let it hang while tightening the bolts. Use a jack and push the Bumper up then tighten

It was crammed upward as tight/straight as possible while being tightened.
I find yours acceptable. I find mine atrocious.

Also, the holes aren't slotted so there's only so much good is done applying tons of upward pressure. The variances can't be more than 1/8".

I'll see if I can slot them as it'd help if the whole thing could come up 1/2" and the bottom swing back a 1/2".
Did y'all reuse the factory bolts?
I did as I figured Toyota used a better quality bolt than China.
I didn't use any of the supplied hardware. Maybe that's part of the problem? I'm open to all ideas here as I think it looks awful the way it is.

    The steel is super thick

    That would NOT be fun.

Funny how your Bumper is also not centered like mine. Not enough to bother me but I do notice it. Send them those pictures and let them know. Maybe send some measurements too of the tailgate to Bumper gap

I used a factory hardware besides for the hitch

Can you see the ground between the tail gate/bumper gap like in my pic?
Are your 6 mounting holes slotted?

I can’t see the ground at all unless I tilt that camera at this angle.
    My mounting holes weren’t slotted

The gap on yours between the bottom of the tail light and bumper, tail gate and bumper is half of the gap as mine. I'm not sure how I can go about slotting the mounting holes. Mines so far off I could probably just drill holes next to the holes already there and be about right but then I'd be concerned with hitting the bumper on rocks or getting winched and the small gap between the old holes and new holes tearing. I'm at a loss right now. I'm already having to send the front bumper back for dents and now this rear doesn't fit worth a piss. I don't want to be "that guy" but come on. I knew these were a budget item BUT I feel I haven't gotten my money's worth this far. I appreciate any input on how to slot the holes or if I should just send it back.

I would totally be “that guy” in this case! Nothing wrong with that. Just because they are cheap doesn’t mean they should fit like that!

I took some measurements. It'd be awesome if one/some of y'all could post a measurement or 2 for comparison.

How do you make a 1/2" diameter hole slotted with a grinder?

    Ah :(

It would end up being square not circular. Could that still work?

I see what you're saying. Yeah, that might work. Hopefully others will post some measurements so I can see just how far off this damn thing is!
