That may happen....but not this weekend, spent all day 0730 till 20 min ago getting house cleaned, grocery shopping , hair cut , laundry , pick up all the branches in the yards , cooking etc. Still have a bacon pan to clean and grease to strain into container for later. Just so I can spend all tomorrow in the shops . Last weekend nothing but laundry got done I was at a blacksmith demo / class last weekend and a bullshit class for 3 days this week lol.

Well hoping you're ending the day with a nice Scotch chaser. At 0730hrs my lazy ass hadn't gotten out of bed. Cleaning and groceries are typically handled are typically handled by my wife, apparently I'm not qualified. Laundry is my department as I get to play chemist and with what hair I have left, the at home clippers take care of that. The blacksmith stuff sounds fun. You already have the anvil? My bullshit classes are mostly online these days.

I am about to pour a finger and drop an ice cube in and go find another set of hammers for the beginner smith class at the end of this month. My 2.5 lb hammers worked the hell out of my hands and shoulder they are not quite up to swinging them all day . So I need to find a set at a 1.5 ish and work up to the 2.5s before the surgery's swinging a 2lb ball pein all day was nothing hands were numb and the shoulder pitched a fit but I could do it. Just pisses me off I had them custom made for me a year ago and now I got to wait longer to really use them. Scotch and shopping what could go wrong ....:} .

As for the household well I paid good money for 13 years to do what I was already doing before, I paid the money to get rid of the drama :{ She did laundry ( hated the way I did it .. by the laundry tag instructions) , shopping ( we need it not going to figure out which size was the best bang for the buck she did it with a calculator 3 hours to grocery shop!!) and paid the bills ( most of the time screwed that up). I do envy you guys that found the right one at times and then at times lol like when I shop for things I want well :} .. Or decide to jump in the truck and go where ever when ever well again :}..

I have an 1879 Mouse Hole Forge Anvil and many many other tools for metal working most of which I had already as that is my actual trade. I bought the anvil for blacksmithing though and the hammers of the 30 plus hammers I have only a few would have worked for blacksmith work but I would have had to regrind the faces which was not going to happen many of them are from the 40s and 50s. I like old tools .. probably why I like hanging around here lol :} ( we will see who read this far)

The class was to teach me how to do something I already know how to do but only according to Uncle Sam not the State I work for so went tried to unlearn many years of training and learn their way hence the BS class designator . Shooting from a raised platform down is the same as shooting up hill is only difficult if you do not understand bullet path and gravity and well short version aim low :} . But I was able to regurgitate their answers and do 50/ 50 out to 150 yds so all good :} . Oh and that was with a holographic sight not a real scope . They do not see the need to teach BUIS since well you always have the electronic holographic sight right....
    Cheers!

Wow, so much there. Only one finger - good for you. Custom made hammers, never thought of that but makes sense (still looking for a right handed shovel). Sounds like a bit of an investment. Maybe therapy will help?
Household - on my second go and still do it myself. Maybe I'm anal with laundry but the missus doesn't seem to mind.
    Had to Google the anvil.

Cast Iron skillet for the win. After the last batch is cooked I pour the grease into my grease catcher (with strainer, removed here)

    bacon grease.jpg

and while doing that run the sink faucet on full hot. Have 2 dedicated scrub brushes for cast iron. Put the pan under the hot water and in 30 sec. done, clean. Back on burner wipe with paper towel. Sit down and eat the bacon.

Ok, really off topic here with this. But has anyone had any experience with the aftermarket trailer wire harnesses? I see one for under $35 that's supposed to be plug-n-play.

That's where I seen it (etrailer). I haven't done any business with them but I see they've been in business a while and they come up on some of the searches I do for trailer related gear so I figure they shouldn't be too bad. My only concern is buying aftermarket items for a 20 year old Toyota.

Last thing I bought was for a 2002 Rav4 Rear light harness in 2009 worked like a champ wiring instructions etc matched up perfect. I did not however, u se the scotch connectors they sent I am not a fan of them did solder and waterproof heat shrink. I had also purchased the bolt on hitch for the rav from them took longer to unbox it and put the Rav on ramps then it did to bolt It up.

I've got a hitch in the garage but not sure what it's for. I need to drop the spare tire and get some measurements. If it's too far off I'll buy one...then I'm pretty sure I'll need to find a new location for the spare. It sits pretty tight under the bed. I don't want it sticking down any further than it currently is.
