What a great anniversary weekend camping trip with kids and friends at the family farm Ran the trails..... and sweet Belle brought us back home. Yes her name is Belle. Get it, Taco? Oh, and my oldest loves Beauty and the beast. Happy Easter everyone.

 

No problem. I'm meeting with another semi-pro photographer to learn how he does his vehicle shots with the San Diego skyline.

 

Yeah it's pretty good, but when I parked next to one at the dealer and compared up close I can tell the fit and finish is slightly better on the OEM. It definitely seems like a bargain compared to the OEM price though Lol.

I did very little with my 3rd Gen today..........cleaned it and cooked near it.


Got her clean....or so I thought.

One cool thing I took note of when looking at the bird droppings.....my neighbor had a sweet looking 2nd Gen parked in the driveway.







Lift, tires, tint all looked badass.








Did some simple eats.







Later on I played around with my iPhone & key fob.....

She's a keeper !!!!!!!!!

Did LED backup lights, license plate and red interior lights as well as RCI HiLift jack mount and Redline hood struts.

 

Sounds like you had better get her a new Subaru with the same features your truck has. Subaru has all that "stuff" as well!

 

Looking on the website I couldn’t find the weight capacity. Any idea if this would hold a larger RTT?

 

Hmmmm, the one I bought on Ebay had a Toyota part number. I don't think it said OEM anywhere. Mine will be here next week and I'm installing it next weekend. I measured my cargo basket and as long as the cross bars are not spread more than 44" apart I'm good. If so I'll have to rig something up.

I still think yours looks great.

 

I offered to buy her a new one last year and she said "I like my little 2000 wagon and no car payment. with 130k on it I will drive it till it dont run." had a couple rust spots in the inside of the read door wells so we got them fixed.
OH BTW, when she said she didnt want a new car, I went and traded the 16 for an 18.

Thanks man. You can definitely get stuck in a deep hole looking for rims and tires, but I think I found a pair that I really like.

Hey Guys

Sorry for being MIA so long, busy with work, family, deployments and shit. So now that I have some down time out here I figured I'd post some of my updates from over the winter. Finally got my ditch lights and behind the grille bar on, all thanks to the CaliRaised brackets and their support. I already had the light bar that I had got as a gift (OPT7 off Amazon) and the bolts were too big for the brackets so I had to bore out the holes on the brackets which was no big deal.I also used the AUXBeam led cubes with side projecting leds as well which work awesome. Both sets turned out awesome in my opinion. Put a bug deflector on the hood and not pictured but also put the in channel window vent visors in. Also a big shout out to everyone's favorite vinyl graphics guy @rrentrop for the side TACOMA with mtn decals and the awesome license plate frames, the red turned out perfect on the back of my BBP! Glad I finally got a little snow at home to go play in! Oh and also got my new custom plates which are pretty special to me. Can't wait to get home for spring to go play with the windows down and sunroof open and music jammin! Oh and also the side view shot is just from driving down my driveway, God the country's the only place to live!

 

Added the other set of Hikari Philips Lumileds to the High Beams and a very nice long soothing wash and dry.

Now the lighting Mod.

First pic is no lights so you have a frame of reference. Just so you know how dark it is up at the house. Even with a full moon.



Second pic is just the Morimoto XB Fogs I recently installed. (got a crazy good deal and couldn't pass it up) Might have to adjust them a little more as to me they look a little low. The base of the second tree on the right is approximately 60' away.



This next pic is the Fogs and the OEM DRLs. They really do a great job of supplementing the fogs.



This 4th pic is the Fogs, and the Low Beams, No DRLs. I think I need to adjust the low beams up a tad. The DRLs do add some light.



This is the money shot. DRLs, Lows and newly installed High Beams on. Wow.



Not bad for $227.00 (after I sold my OEM fogs for $65). I am completely satisfied and up here in the country with our large deer population I feel much safer.

I also installed Hikari License Plate Bulbs last weekend.





I have the LED Reverse Bulbs already and that is tomorrow.
