I am positive. They’re unbranded Chinese products sold under different names. There are variations that are similar but slightly different, that’s not what I’m talking about though.

The ones in the pic below are sold by many companies but are identical. Look at the ads, they even use the same pictures on the same white Tacoma. Look at DT Moto and OEMassive on eBay, same truck, I think Tacoma Beast May use that white Tacoma too.

Oh yeah those are the Ebay ones. I would prefer the smoke lens like on the Spyder or TB versions.. Just didn't know if there were any difference in quality. I would also like to confirm that the LED tube is actived with DRL.

The ones the guy posted above your original post with the questions are entirely different lights.

It is not, it’s tied to the parking lights.

I have a 2008 SR5. Honestly, I don't think I even have DRL so I usually run with the side marker lights on anyway. I believe these are also referred to as the parking lights.

I know... There are models for the 2005-2011 too. That is why I was asking questions about the various brands not just the ebay ones.

Spyder Auto Version (very similar if not identical to TB version)

I would look at companies with regard to who offers the best warranty, because there’s a decent chance you’ll need to use it with any Chinese lights. If someone offers a year or something that would be ideal in case they start leaking after a while.

That is a good point. I would plan on a bead of silicone for peace of mind. BUT I think the Spyder ones are on back order till may... so that gives me some time to work with

To anyone still interested in purchasing these headlights, save some money and get them off eBay, they’re all the same, from the same manufacturer in China, they all even use the same advertising pictures, packaging etc. I purchased mine from protuninglab because they came with the hid option. I got the 6000k option, they came with generic no name hids, which is fine, it’s what I expected, I’m not upgrading my hids and ballasts to ones from the retrofit source. The 6000k was not the color I was looking for, which is my fault. I should have went with the 4300k, doing more research, they put out more Lumens and they’re closer to pure white which is what I wanted. 6000k has a hint of blue and make it harder to see at night. If I were to do it all again, I would buy the cheaper ones off eBay, and invest in a decent set of hids like I’m about to do now. I’d probably end up saving money and be much happier. All in all, I’m happy with the lights, I just should have done more research which is totally my fault.

I posted above, but I saw some pictures someone posted of theirs being unboxed, which were identical to mine (but from a different retailer). I honestly think these are boxed up in China and sent here all ready to go, just needing a label slapped on.

Most likely. They all seem to have the same markings/identification on the boxes. However protuninglab is the only one I’ve found so far that offers an hid option from the seller. That must be their doing in house.

i havent taken the light off so my mistake if there is no seperate bulb for the turn signal. I assumed there was from previous vehicles ive owned.

I did a clear corner mod on a previous car and the bulb looked clear but flashed amber. So i'm wondering if that was the case with those. Saw the pic on the previous page, didnt show it.

That is the only person (that I have seen) who has those lights. Those are not the same lights that this thread is about.

I have the ones that this thread is about, and they do flash amber. You could put any color bulb in you want though.

I got them off ebay without projectors. Running osram night breaker unlimiteds in them. The blinker bulb is the same one you currently use. You just plug it into its proper hole.

I bought these from Protuninglab as well. I did if for 2 reasons. 1 they don't void the warranty for using HID's, and also they came preassembled.

I know I could have probably done it cheaper, but I'm not super confident in what parts I would really want to buy.

I bought the HID's in the 4300K and am very happy with the optics, both from the driver seat, and looking at the truck.

I shoulda got the 4300k :facepalm:the 6000k is too blue for me and actually feels like I have to strain my eyes to look at the road... so I just ended up ordering $100 worth of good hids and ballasts from the retro fit source. Stupid me
