I just got my white 2013 with OME 885x/nitro springs/shocks, SPC UCA's, sliders, 285/75/16 tires on Pro Comp 16x8 wheels. I need to work on better pictures of the white when the sun/snow isn't out!

I was trying to clean it up yesterday with a fresh coat of cleaner/wax and I could only work on it for so long even with sunglasses on! The white is really bright and add snow on the ground and it's blinding. I had a red Silverado which I really needed to keep up with the cleaning/waxing for it to look good so the white should be a little easier to deal with.

Thanks man! I too was in the same boat as you, only thing it came down to was that the F5’s were out of stock... But overall I am more than happy with the five stars. Sick truck btw!

Your fenders are formed sheet metal, no plastic on front?

For those who have had anything powder coated, especially sliders. I got my sliders powder coated less than a year ago - 6 months max. This winter we have had 4-6 snow/ice events where they laid down salt, it's been under average season to say the least, here in KC. Anyhow.

I know someone with an online bought cattle guard a few years old that's been on the truck for a good 2 winters. It's powder coated and isnt rusting at the welds.

What do I do? Do I wait? See what happens? Strip them down and prep/paint them myself? Find someone else to powder coat? Buy some rattle can liner to touch up?

These are SOS Concepts Bolt on sliders. I love em, and have no issue with the fabrication of these. I just wonder if I should have done something to prep them prior to paying $ for powder coat? Did the guy who powder coat them not prep them/do a subpar job?

I don't know. I ask myself this as well. I don't have a good excuse not to. I follow the FB group as well.

Went to one last year at 4x4 parts in OP. Decent time. I just haven't been to one since.

    I probably should.

Take them off, wire wheel the welds, metal etching primer, then spray with something that matches. Preferably semi gloss Rust-Oleum acrylic. That shit is harder than woodpecker lips when it dries

Had someone hit my truck and not leave a note. It was parked on the steeet on the couldesac that my parents live on. Frame looks straight still, but the rear bumper is bent up, the rear driver side taillight is broken, and the driver bedside is bent out pretty badly. The tailgate also doesn't open or close now. I'm talkong to our insurance company to get everything fixed, but still hurts every time I see the photos.IMG_20180331_141052.jpg

Damn that sucks! Sorry this happened to you. Some people just suck and have no consideration or are honest at all! They really could have atleast left a note! Someone reversed into my skid plate a couple of weeks ago and I was so angry when I saw it! Mine wasn’t as bad as yours but still it’s the point ya know! Hope all goes well for you.

Nice truck. What size tires are you running? And do you have wheels spacers with those 2nd gen wheels?

Weird question.....yall think it's possible to travel for 6 months and live out of a single cab? I don't think a RTT is an option
