What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed a CB in my truck couple weeks ago. Looks good and it’s tucked away out of sight with firestik quick disconnect to remove my antenna so it doesn’t get stolen.

 

Installed my dogs and were ready to go!

 

how do you like your @kbvoodoo crossbars? I've been looking at their bedrack, but a lot of people have been complaining about the paint chipping and rust after just a couple months. How's everything holding up with yours?

Very nice job on the massive electrical upgrade. I've been doing electrical wiring all my life and I can't believe some of the butchery I've seen in especially automotive and residential housing. That is a very clean, neat and well thought out quality job.

 

any issues of the KB voodoo cross bars paint peeling or parts rusting?

 

Easter bath.

 

Picked it up two days ago. Tinted the front window to match the back and put predator steps on it. As I said in another post, I have had fun watching you all throw money at your trucks and giving me ideas. RIP my savings account.

Next up is ceramic coating. Local guy uses ceramic pro. Seems like good stuff from the reviews on here. I would be happy to hear opinions on any alternatives you can think of. I’m in Kentucky if that matters.

 

I love the functionality of my @KB Voodoo bed bars that is why I always vouch for them but yes I would agree mine have been chipping and rusting since the first time I put my rtt on it. I’m just not the guy to complain hahaha i still love them though.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty close on purchasing them today. Just wanted to do my due diligence and see what others' experience with them are. Thanks man!

Hopefully I can get the % right so the fronts match the factory rears.

What % did you use ? It looks good.

 

I’m pretty sure he said 20%. I simply asked that they match. The side view doesn’t look like they are matching because of the light coming in the front windshield. In person it is a perfect match. Hope that helps.

 

I downloaded and organized my receipts for all the additions and modifications I've done to date so I have it all for insurance purposes. Let's just say the total number is up there. I should probably stop spending money on this truck...

 

Installed LED reverse lights, @rrentrop interior vinyl blackout kit & glove box inserts.

The AC rings went on very easy but I’m not happy with the cup holder. I’m going to leave it for now & see if it bothers me. But anything’s better than getting blinded by the chrome. My iPhone dock covers some of it anyways.
