    I took mine out.
Didnt want that to happen to mine.
The only thing I did different was “flash the converter”.
Runs great. No more taco tic......

That's just bull_ _ _ _! Having fun on a weekend!? Who does that?!

I have a feeling this coming year (after this summer) I can finally start working a "normal" schedule and can slow down some.

    Good for you!

Got in the truck, one click

    Nothing else

    Batteries have juice.

    Starter has 150k on it.

Hit the starter with a hammer

I felt better, still won't start.

I wish Mike was my neighbor

    He is glad I'm not

Yeah you have to have 30 years total before they can stop calling you up. I was a little bit surprised about the inactive reserve thing for the last 10 years. The personalman that was retiring me said don't worry, they don't call you guys back unless they need some old fart to hand over the flag. They have never activated the retired reserve although a few came out voluntarily during desert storm to run the big 16" guns on the battleships.

Once the 30 years is up you do get a letter in the mail. I'm not much for all the ruckus and pompous of a retirement ceremony but getting a letter in the mail from Uncle Sam saying your done, your really old now, was kind of a let down. Just got another one from VGLI yesterday saying because I turn 60 soon they are raising my rates to $220 a month. Love my sons but I'm cancelling that shit now. As in today.

Sorry to hear that Bob. My Ex didn't like to cook meals especially holidays. So Christmas and Easter was usually Chinese. Probably the reason I cook so much now, well and I like to eat good food especially something other than Chinese all the time.

Need to get off my butt and get started. Getting ready to draw 29.9" of vacuum Bob, sorry in advance! If you were closer....

Mine was the starter solenoid. I rebuilt it about a month or so ago.

I opted out of VGLI. Taxes, tricare and survivor benefits for my wife was all I wanted to spend.

I'm not all into the pomp either. Didn't have a retirement ceremony or party. I know my achievements and accomplishments. Figured I'd just walk to the parkinglot and leave (without fanfare) like any other day. Still enjoy the company of other vets. Glad I'm done.

You sound like me. The only celebration I want is to see the security gate close behind me for 1 final time. I’m kinda hoping after we go to Charleston in a couple of weeks I’ll be able to convince my wife that move further south

Is this a Toyota or a Chrysler?

Cause ifen it were a Pentastar, I’ve used the hammer trick and that works.

Convince her of the longer camping season and the rare snow storm.
